I stumbled across this show when I was around 14/15 and I’ve watched it EVERY year since then — I’m 25.

There’s not one show EVER that’s impacted my life more than this one has. It’s hands down my favorite of all time & I love shows like Power, The Wire, The Chi, etc, but this one, man… nothing makes me feel like this one.

I live in Oakland ca, my neighborhood looks just like this , this is my second time re watching this mini series it’s so good , I look at this as a prequel to the wire but more real this is just art , a story , lessons , truths , horrors so much packed into this it’s incredible

It's true that the first experience with heroin/opiates is the best as far as the feelings/effects are concerned. But if you do that junk long enough and your body won't give one good gottdamn whether it's the FIRST TIME or the 10,000th time. If you plan on doing anything other than vomit, go sleepless, and curl up in a ball of pain and misery then you'll probably put that stuff in you...or die trying.

They need to 1080p, 4k remaster this series. or does the low quality cinematography gives it it's charm. Just like Trailer Park Boys.. It was great before it went to High Definition.
