ОтветитьI'm always rescuing cacti. I have way too many! 😂
ОтветитьThat color is beautiful on you!
ОтветитьYou are so beautiful 😻
ОтветитьI just rescued another peace lily all it needed was some water 🤷🏾♀️🤣
ОтветитьI’m a florist and the worst thing we have to do is basically keep them in the small pots when they look ramen noodle or are dying or just suffering, I always repot most but got yelled at lol
ОтветитьYou should see all the amazing plants I haul out of my local Home Depot’s dumpster 🤯🤯🤯
ОтветитьLove your turtleneck
ОтветитьI do the same thing. People who works in those areas doesn’t really know about plants. Two years ago, I brought a marble queen for $5 all it needed was water. I have that plant today and it is beautiful.
ОтветитьYou’re so damn cute ❤️❤️
ОтветитьIt's easy to "rescues" healthy plants.....just add water lmfao!!!
ОтветитьRescuing plants is how I got a thrips infestation that absolutely destroyed my whole collection :(
ОтветитьGreat look on life ❤
ОтветитьLowes will sometimes discount healthier plants if they have a few burned leaves or the pot is damaged!
ОтветитьI couldn’t keep my jade plant alive .gave it to a friend, hopefully she’s able to give it a better care
ОтветитьI found a big Draecena (corn plant) in the street. It was so heavy I took a cab home. Now I think I’m killing it instead of rescuing it. I’m stressed out bc it looks worse but it’s still alive so 🙏🏽🤞🏽
ОтветитьI do the same lol
ОтветитьMy rescue peace lily is growing beautiful and I have 7 babies now as Christmas presents 😂
ОтветитьI love rescuing plants too, I've brought home so many great plants.
ОтветитьI am to love plants
ОтветитьLook plants first before you buy it discount or clearances me always do...... ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
ОтветитьYou should dumpster dive at that store. To see when they throw out their plants. You can save a bunch of them for Free that way. You don’t pay to dumpster dive.
ОтветитьMe too
ОтветитьI just rescued a Staghorn fern and think I may be biting off more than I can chew! It’s small though, but Krystal do you have any experience with these??
ОтветитьIt’s always the peace Lilly! Lmao SHE IS A PEACE LILLYYY!!!
ОтветитьI will also find plants that haven't been marked down but look like they should be and have had a lot of luck with staff marking them down as half-off or more! 😊
ОтветитьYou have such pretty eyes!
ОтветитьI need help with my peace Lilly 😢😢😢😢
ОтветитьI’m surprised you don’t like fittonias 😭 they grow so easy
ОтветитьWas that Lowes??? That’s where I get my plants from 😊
ОтветитьNo, I need you to come to Pittsburgh to show me how to rescue my own plants 🤦♀️
ОтветитьI want you and Darcy (from @darcyandjer) to go to the “plant shelter” together lol
ОтветитьI rescued a plant that had been put next to some bins. I thought it was a Peace lily. Turns out it is a Cast iron plant. Very cool flowers. 😊
ОтветитьI got a monstera I don't know what I'm doing wrong because leaves turning brown what can I do?
Thanks girl.
Got my monstera deliciosa as a rescue plant for 11.50 at home depot about 2 weeks ago 🥰😁
ОтветитьWhere are you shopping? I can never find the deals...
ОтветитьI just rescued my first plant thanks to you. I am a property manager and I had someone move out last week and leave behind a dry, crusty aloe and a wilted curly leaf jade plant. I followed your tips and they are already looking better.
ОтветитьI have no luck with my peace lily. I'm going to switch the soil and see if I can save it.
ОтветитьWhat store do you go to rescue?
ОтветитьGirl did you see the orbs in your car when you were filming sooo cool 😎 you earth angel 👼
ОтветитьI grabbed a cart from under the plants at Lowe's that had 2 small pieces of green plant on it. Broight them home, dipped in rooting powder and now they are growing like weeds. 😂 I think its just a ground cover but it's a very light, bright green and i like the contrast woth my other plants.
ОтветитьI got a ponytail palm on clearance at Walmart for $2 a year ago..cut off the bad foliage and it now looks amazing. ❤
ОтветитьWonderful walkabout surely encouraging and that attitude is that of a patron
ОтветитьAs a big box store cashier - the amount of times that I give people discounts on non-discounted plants depends on how nice they are to me. I’m not supposed to if they’re not marked so if you’re being a dick or just act like you’re entitled to a discount I’m not going to. Just be nice to people lmao and if there’s actually something up with the plant to make it eligible for discount then yeah ask nicely but don’t be mad if it doesn’t qualify (if there’s nothing wrong with it we aren’t gonna mark it down).
Also I just want to say that houseplant people (saying that as one) are some of the most sneaky groups I’ve seen. I’ve seen people try to get away with hiding plants in other plants, take cuttings off of PERFECTLY HEALTHY plants (if you’re gonna do that, do the clearance plants) someone’s still gonna end up buying that plant or it’s gonna get thrown away and you’re making it harder for everyone. Also, we know when you’re faking the discount or acting like it’s the wrong price. Houseplant people are very argumentative I’ll say that much lmao and it makes me sad to see as a fellow houseplant person.
My ex-boyfriend's family laughed at me when we all went to a garden centre one day, because I headed straight for the reductions (outdoor plants) and picked up a load what they considered to be dead and dying plants for 25p and 50p each. I filled a trolley, took them home and planted them up. When they came to visit the following summer they couldn't believe how full of colour my garden was from my "dead" plants. All were perennials and summer bulbs that had been dying back for the winter. Rescues from local garden centres were how I got into orchids too about 25 years ago, but that's a never-ending story.
ОтветитьI rescued a sad little alocasia with one scraggly leaf for $4. Put it in my garden and it's now almost as tall as me and just as wide!
ОтветитьMy local plant centre has a clearance table too, but unfortunately they're all either still expensive or beyond saving.
ОтветитьThat shirt is your color that peach or orange whatever it is makes you glow sister
ОтветитьThanks to you I have my first rescue which cost me nothing!! It is a ficus elastica Tineki. It was broken at the base of the stem and some leaves had dropped off and the others were really droopy. I chopped it into 5 cuttings and I'm trying to water propagate. Hopefully it will work out.
Thank you Krystal for giving me the confidence to try it. Since my husband passed plants are the thing that keeps me going. Thanks again for your videos I look forward to them 😁👍
