The really did Paul and Law dirty and I have no idea why. It's a sick joke
Ответить*Law fought the lore and... the lore won
ОтветитьHonestly, they did Paul worse. Paul, a guy who was canonically on the same level as Kazuya and fought him to a draw, one of the ONLY non-Mishima related characters to actually win the tournament, now reduced to a homeless meathead that is also a coward.
ОтветитьОчень трогательное видео. У меня были такие же ощущения. когда я видел концовки Ло, но Ло не мой основной персонаж. Очень обидно, что Теккен так обходится с таким крутым персонажем.
ОтветитьYou just earned a subscriber for this video bro 👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🙌🙌🙌🙌 ANY FIGHTING GAME IN LOOKING FOR THE GUY WHO LOOKS LIKE BRICE LEE.... YOU SPOKE FPR THE COMMUNITY WITH THAT
ОтветитьEveryones story in tekken is sad. Basically.
ОтветитьI fought the law and the law won.
Just up circle circle circle
Tekken story peaked in tekken 2 imo
ОтветитьHe isn't Supposed to BE the Actual Bruce lee, he is supposed to represent that style of fighting or martial arts that bruce lee represents. I think its all in good fun, if you wanna see law do crazy shit, just pull of a 10 hit combo lol
Ответитьevil ass ending LMAO
Ответить😂😂😂 You are making me weak bro! Thank you for being a advocate for Law / Bruce Lee. Law use to be bad ass in Tekken 1-3 but the disresprect for Law in Tekken 4-8 is frustrating and lame
ОтветитьIt's a shame what they did to Paul and law... They both had cool stories
ОтветитьJobber lmao
ОтветитьSo who has a better flash kick 🤔 guile or law 🤔 lol guile gonna hit you w 2-3 somersaults 🤣🤣 it look like law just go keep cranking them whip back flash kicks back to back 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьIt got worse lmao
ОтветитьLaw and Paul stay disrespected. The salt🧂 is real
(Paul main)
Law and Paul's fans: Stop destroying Law and Paul! We want them in their TRUE PRIME
Harada: Yes?
Im glad I wasnt the only new guy who picked up law just because he's bruce lee 😂
ОтветитьBruce Lees family must have pissed off some tekken writers.
ОтветитьComic relief bruce lee? Weird
ОтветитьThe reason they do Law like this is because he'd be the favorite character, but they want Jin to be.
ОтветитьWell Marshall Law and Lei Wulong are my favourites (Bruce Lee and Chackie Chan, I'm not gonna lie... I Love these two characters)
Also Paul Phoenix <3
Sad its even worse in T8
ОтветитьWait until he plays tekken 8
ОтветитьThis is one kd the fubniest videos ive ever seen LMAOOOOO. Im a new tekken player i love tekken 8. I may have to rewarch this, btw marshall got washed again in t8 😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьTekken overall has been a JOKE since 4.
ОтветитьThey did the reverse of what Pokémon did. Pokémon had Team Rocket around to cheer/laugh at for their misfortune, but Tekken chose to make two great characters to be laughed at for their misfortune.
ОтветитьWelp Tekken 8 is out and the worst happened all of Law’s portrayal is a joke. Except the main story
Ответитьdon't be sorry about being honest bro you highlighted it before this video I never recognize that great job man they should reconsider now I'm thinking about Kuma and Panda their story is much better then him although they huffffffffffffffffffffffffff!!!!!!!🤐
ОтветитьI appreciate the upset in a sense but it's not Bruce Lee, he's inspired but they aren't the same and the initial cause of creation doesn't mean that they must share and evoke the same reverence.
I don't think for example that a pope character needs to be like one more than the others.
I think its better he be a subversion than to just be the same to exclusive effect.
Every other allusion is a strong fighter, extremely similar to the point of blandness.
Law has more uniqueness to him for the worse of his street cred/ respecting the real world equivalent but he is memorable because of this.
It's one of the reasons Marshall and Forrest are so hard to appreciate from an outsiders perspective. I know several people who didn't realize that he was different, like how some doesn't know different between kings/ armor kings but worse because they are the more worldly real characters.
Having the rich besting the poor or less privileged is a core motifs of many in the series but especially law
Lili beating him insnt the same as if to say that it was a purely positive purpose
She is not glorified and not vindicated in her dismissive and disrespectful lack of appreciation because she is a cold and detached rich girl who is to many characters as unlikeable but they don't give her the certain obvious contrived good guy or villain moments with obvious in universe context and character reactions moments commentated or spoken of as say marduk and king or Lee or jin via crowd or TV internet sequence and it's better for it.
Not every character can support the requirements to maintain relevance beyond parody or like contrivance for added spark, it doesn't mean that their isn't love or respect to the roots.
Beyond a point, archetype can only give so much.
Think about the full scope of the situation
Liu Kang, Law, FEI Long.
All of them were fruit from a similar time frames harvest.
Early-mid 90s at the birth of a genre of fighting utilizing both real world and fictitious sources if fighting and story or influence to them forming.
Fighting was the order of the day and so were contemporary sources ti draw from or by, the free-er the source the better.
That's why especially early on, they were just a Bruce by another name.
They kept it very basic and it shows sometimes even do the detriment.
Liu kang to this day occasionally gets spoken of because of how dry and bland/without violence in mortal kombat to them ultimately giving him what essentially was the spirit of the series in the dragon logo and the key place in plot with it.
This went on and eventually he served better has a subversion than his origin.
Zombie, false God, avenging spirit. True elder God and creator.
Tekken cannot just give everyone (especially veterans) crazy powers for spice so they more generally draw over the personality and interaction.
Like Brian, Law is derived heavily through celebrity of current pop culture and one barely expanded upon early on especially. So they go on to a point where they add or go in a bizarre or unexpected tweak. Often these surprises often are received cold but to standout too much is seen as betrayal yet without the reality of the gameplay and the origin of itself and its initial design or desire before need for character.
Games sometimes necessitate a common broad cultural sculpt or a similarly known or described lingua franca for archetype.
Chuck Norris. Bruce Lee.
Famed fighters flagbarers of their publicly afforded portfolio of fighting to draw off of.
Easy access to footage, history and general depictions inkind.
Mannerisms, sound and postings and favored clothing designs and dressage.
Once you get to a point you can only do so much with so little of experience or history. Especially one ended before it could finish being lived normally, a unfinished story can only lend to a point. Eventually it results in a self diluted history and love for some who may be exposed to something less than ideal in reality presumed known but without it's fully finished feel be presumed.
Sometimes if you stay too close to a source the less it affords rather running the risk of going against what was known but not real or honorable in disrespect to the original.
I HATE THE RICH!!!
ОтветитьTo be fair, his ending in 5 should be the best one. Hell, i would've had the same response to Paul, too. That bill belonged to Forrest, not Marshall. Lol
Ответить😂😂"Bruce Lee and supposedly Chuck fricken Norris are cowards"
ОтветитьI hated how they made Law such a comedic character less sincerity with the Paul and Law duo I respect it respectfully but I also felt law was disrespected
Ответитьforrest could save the family name if he ever returns to tekken
ОтветитьI'm sorry to report, in Law's ending, the story, and Law's personality they did him dirty. They just made him bitter and money hungry screaming that he hates rich people whenever he goes against someone who has significant wealth. It's fucking sad.
ОтветитьMy first was tekken 1 and I play with him a lot.
They keep trashing law in tekken 8, even with lili's ending.
Its the same problem with paul, eddy's ending in tekken 7.
Tekken only bennefits the mishima and kazama clan.
I hated the way law was depicted in tekken 8s story it was awful
ОтветитьThey broke the LAW. What a tragedy.
ОтветитьI kinda liked his T4 ending, it showed that he belongs more in his dojo. That's what he's good at, that's what he's truly passionate for.
It was both funny and badass, which is what Law always was.
I broke with the resident evil 2 song
ОтветитьLeis ending in tag 2 was cool though
ОтветитьLaw is the most relatable character; he's always in debt
ОтветитьMarshall after TK6 looks weird
ОтветитьActually reason for this , is the fact , that people in early years of arcade tekken tournaments only picked Law and Paul , so Namco tried to put ppl of off them , trying to make them look like clowns
ОтветитьYour story is similar to mine. Martial Law is why I started playing Tekken
ОтветитьThe way the series goes on with this treatment of Law, it starts to make me question if the Writing staff had something against Bruce Lee. Like out of all the inspirations, Law has to be the worst of them because of this treatment.
ОтветитьYou should also make how mortal kombat ruined Liu Kang
ОтветитьOMG I didn't know all of this... 😂 well... at least he is strong in the game. Got some pretty annoying moves. He and Eddie are loved by the noobs for a reason.
Ответить
