Alfie you spoke too soon
ОтветитьGERMAN PRIDE... Thats the problem.
When you put immigrants on the national team, they have no pride in Germany. (Sometimes they don't like the country they are playing for and they just want a bigger contract from a club team.)
This is true for all people... When you are fighting for the country you love, then you put extra effort into winning a game. History has shown this time after time.
It doesn't matter if it's a game or war. People will fight for a person or place they love.
You never mentioned the 2017 Confederations Cup🔥 and if Mario Gotze and Toni Kroos would have played in 🇶🇦2022 Im sure 🇩🇪 would have won 🇯🇵2-1 and 🇪🇸2-0, they would have made a much better difference💪🔥
ОтветитьGermans could never win in the final if De Maria would have played in that final...
ОтветитьWait until we enter the pink shirt era.
ОтветитьMaybe the German collective football ,just like the Tiki Taka, is just outdated. Maybe maximizing the talents of the players you have is key. Something Luis de la Fuente or Carlo Ancelotti can tell more about it.
Ответитьone WC and zero Euro in recent thirty years 😢
ОтветитьI've been a fan of the German football team since childhood because of their consistent and never giving up attitude. I love how even when they lost the semi finals, they always won the third place, or became a runner up. They just spiralled downward since 2014, and it's so heartbreaking to see. I hope they come back from this mess, they're a great team. ❤
Ответитьyou might be right in some of your claims but at this point it should be stated that germany played their '2010ish' formation so good (with kimmich as a full back) that their game against spain was the 'real' final of EURO2024 as England probably only got into final because of their much easier way through KO stage. they were the only team on the same level has the spanish squad.
like some other people stated here there is an actual problem with non-related social issues being connected to and focussed on by the DFB.
but the MAIN problem has for all those years been the coach(es). Löw should have retired for good after 2018 (which didnt happen) and when they had to choose a new coach they picked Flick instead of Stefan Kuntz, who coached the german U21 in both EURO 2017 and 2021 to the title.
Flick already had problems in munich in terms of "not having the team behind him" and did not at all have the skills as a head coach.
now look what giant step forward has been made by making Julian Nagelsmann the new coach. No change in formation, he accepted that Kimmich destroys the german defending game when playing cm and most important: focussed only (!) on football, re assigned toni kroos and created a clear distribution of roles in the main team + bench players.
Germany in WC 16 QF, 13 Semis(12 Medals) 8 Finals & 4 Stars in Euros 9 semis, 6 Finals & 3 Wins the Most Conistent Nation in History
ОтветитьIn the Euro 2024, I think they played really well. Strong start against Scotland, with 5:1, and all their games were exciting to watch. Going out in the knockout round against Spain, who also kicked out France on their way to the finals, is no shame.
I don't know how they would have fared against France or England, who have better individual players, but they felt much more like a team than either.
Looks like we improved
ОтветитьThe 4 times world cup winners, Germany and Italy, both faced a significant downfall in football. l am a Germany fan and l don't feel like Germany did anything after 2014 world cup.
ОтветитьPOV: you are tired listening to an englishman who can't get over 5-1 friendly victory for 20+ years
ОтветитьWatching this after Germany eliminated in quarterfinals in Euro 2024
Ответить16 WC Quarters, 13 WC Semis, 8 Finals, 4 Stars, Euro 9 Semis, 6 Finals & 3 Wins
The Germans are the most Consistent Nation of All Times 1934-2017
Do the math and we will find out they will win the World cup in 2034 again. See you in 10 years!
ОтветитьInteresting side note: Germany won the Confed Cup in 2017 with a so called "C Team" of mostly newbies and youngsters. They reminded us of the reboot phase under Klinsman 2004-2006. Löw dumped most of them a year later for the 2018 world cup.
ОтветитьI stopped watching football after the 2018 German debacle. For six straight years. Not a single game, not a single summary, not a single news story. Watched the last EURO game but its obvious we are still struggling with so many issues.
ОтветитьWe are so back
Ответитьdude.... does the U17 team represent Germany or some african country??
ОтветитьThe issue is the growing presence of immigrant players in the German team. Immigrants are being selected above superior ethnic German players because of politics. The German people also see themselves as an particular ethnic unit which is not being represented by their team so many do not follow anymore...
ОтветитьYes, good comment, I also believe this same thing think happens in every area in the west right now, not just football., but in every field from politicts to business etc.
ОтветитьI did not even bother to watch the last two world cups. I knew it would be embarrasing. After 2014, the team was spent. The coach was spent. And nothing had been done to prepare for the needed replacements. Everything that happened since then was just as predicted by many and ignored by the dfb.
ОтветитьThere is a direct line connecting downfall of german football with the rise of fascism in Germany again
ОтветитьGermany is Overrated
ОтветитьOne year after this video they won european cup… Amazing
ОтветитьGermany became woke warriors during the World Cup instead of focusing on the football , it was good to see Japan win against them
ОтветитьThat picture of Pogba would make Goebbles blush
Ответитьin 2018, Ozil was top of chances created in the tournament and Germany missed all the chances and then Blamed HIM for their failure.
ОтветитьThe probl in Germany team Is Bayern players and play style
ОтветитьWhile Germany was divided up into 3 teams in the 1950s, the 1954 World Cup which they won had both West and East Germany in it and bc Germany is considered a successor to both of those teams Germany technically had double the chances of winning that tournament as everyone else, not quite as impressive from that perspective
ОтветитьGuardiola really ruined German football. I can't believe Bayern went for the coach whose ethos they themselves destroyed 7-0 over two legs. in the CL in 2013. Yes, that Barcelona wasn't coached by Guardiola, but it was still very much his team and his philosophy. He introduced the show-offy, "attractive" football with which Bayern lost two CL ties against counterattacking teams, but German football has been in his thrall, to their own cost.
ОтветитьGermany were mostly poor between 1990 World Cup win and 2006. They were good between 2006 and 2014 and have been poor since. 2014 win was the swansong of a good generation (Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Klose, Khedira) and the likes of Ozil, Muller and Neuer peaked. They haven't provided good defenders or forwards since. They were dependent on Klose even in 2002, yet still were in 2014.
ОтветитьEngland football national team? Sounds familiar... Did they ever win anything? 🙃
ОтветитьGermany lost the fight and passion, with all due respect, for me is the multiculturism who has killed the national team, they lost the german mentality
ОтветитьThe problem is not very German
ОтветитьIts ok they have 4 world cus
ОтветитьIt's just sad that the 3 main national teams of the world are crumbling apart for the last decade or so... Italy, Germany and Brazil are not the same as they were before the 2010s.
-Italy's last WC knock out match was on the 2006 final where they won against France (the only good thing was the Euros that they won on 2020). And I guess that's the only title since they won the WC
-Germany being knoked out on group stage on the last 2 WCs... again last WC knockout match was their final against Argentina on 2014 (of course they won the confederations on 2017 but that's too little for Germany)
-Brazil not making threw a final since they won in 2002 (different that the other two, Brazil managed to win more titles since 2002, they won 3 Copas Americas on 2004,2007 and 2019. 3 Confederations Cup on 2005,2009 and 2013, and two olympic gold medals on 2016 and 2020/2021) but that's also little of what we expect from them.
While we're seeing the rising of other national teams that aren't so traditional or the improvment of other good teams like France, Argentina and England (they are all WC winners but not as great as those three).
Japan, Senegal, Marocco, Croatia, Belgium, Iran, USA, Canada, Egypt, Switzerland, Serbia, South Korea, Hungary (Hungary were great at the 50s and 60s ok, but they haven't been for a while) all improved a lot.
While Sweden, Uruguay, Russia, Nigeria, Ivory Coast aren't as good as they used to be as well
f*ck this new players! in 2018 germany could’ve won mexico 2-1
sweden 3-1
south korea 2-0
with

The problem is that the DFB does not start over like they did in the early 2000nds. Right now, the leadership is focusing on old, fat, saturated pros instead of young hungry players. Be honest, playing in the Nationalteam is like a catwalk for future well paid contracts. The current roster is full of people already with extremely (too high) well paid contracts. So where is the incentive to give it all? The Jersey itself, the honor to play for the nation is deader than dead. I would be a fan of my team again if the old overpaid , detached from reality men at the DFB would dump the current rich pros and take a chance of the highly talented and successful U23, 21, or even 17 players. What the hell are pensioners such as Mueller and Hummels doing in the team, does anyone really believe they actually are (or even can) give it all to keep up with young fit players?
Ответить사네,그나브리등 2선 자원들이 젤 문제라고본다. 골결정력이 아주 안습이야 ㅡㅡ
ОтветитьGerman players lack passion and morale to win the game, they cant even solve the number 9 problem, werner is underperforming in germany, muller would be a choice but he'd be a false 9.
Ответить👌
ОтветитьAll big teams have been there, we are just the last of the "big" one to go through it. We'll be back!
Ответить👌
ОтветитьThey should just focus on sport
ОтветитьMake a correction. Brazil was not eliminated in the first phase of the 1990 World Cup. It only happened in 1966 after Pelé was savagely beat on field by the Portugueses players.
