Career mode is terrible. I won by knockout and my opponent didnt land a single shot on me and i lost half of my physical attributes. Joke of a game and a waste of time.

UFC 5 is currently on sale for $41. IF you want the DLC its cheaper to buy the base game and the separate DLC, comes out to $72 versus the delux edition which is still $100???

Is this game worth it for someone who has never played UFC games? It's on sale at 45,- right now.

The one way I started playing these games that helped a bit of the immersion is removing the HUD.

Once you get there it is a bit more fun, but the only downside is not knowing the submission direction

Is it a bad game? Probably not… is EA a horrible company that scam fans of UFC and NFL? Oh yes… oh hell yes!

Had fun playing during a free game trial would I purchase it … no. If it was a fight night game , without a doubt take my money

Games horrible I've played demo and Uninstalled in 40 mins because it's ufc 4. Ground game is horrible same move sets for everyone nothing special. 2 out of 10

Massive delays in online fights, 2-3 sec delay everytime i press.

Theres been no upgrades since ufc 3 except maybe docter stoppages and subs although the new sub system is stupid imo. I can sub anyone at will and it feels like the game just gives me the W

I've played EA UFC 5 11 hours lol. I paid $100 for it or whatever it was for Fedor. I have never played an MMA or Combat sports game so little. I've played Supremacy MMA, EA MMA, Every EA UFC, every THQ UFC&Pride FC, K-1 Grand Prix, Bellator, Fire Pro Wrestling ( with custom MMA fighters) , Weekend Warriors, and more which I can't recall.

I do not like EA UFC 5 , it feels like 4 which is like a slap in the face. Imagine , as a game designer, thinking that cuts and blood will tell a story. It's ridiculous. Give me MMA mechanics in the game.

I did not play UFC four so then I got UFC five so I don’t know if it’s the same exact game but I’m pretty sure it is but it does get very repetitive especially in career mode. It would be nice if it had some like open world thing like so you could like interact with fans or getting into fights.

You captured how I felt in game with words, something i couldn't do. Props brother, Couldn't agree more with the review. OH and I got the deluxe addition only to have none of the extra fighters unlocked... EA support claims its a "frequent issue".

I will say I feel I wasted my money as I was fooled by the trailers but for me anyway I more or less play the game as a for fun thing since ufc was never my bread and butter but I will say undisputed even in the state it’s in is miles ahead of ufc 5

I’m having fun with it and played all of them,but I can’t say your lying,cuz your not.They can do better for sure,but it is what it is.I am still having a blast and enjoying it with what they did add.I am surprised after 3 years that’s all they did.I wouldn’t call it an update,but not that far off 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

UFC Undisputed 3 was the peak of all UFC Games.

Sure the Undisputed Games didn't gave us Fedor. But you had all Legends in the Roster + in UFC Undisputed 3 you could fight in Pride Mode.

Who remembers 'EA Sports MMA'? Even this was was better than UFC 5.


Lets be honest, this game sucks in every department. Its buggy, you don't have many fighters, the new controls are not intuitive at all, you're CAS isn't individual (i hoped that you could rebuild a fighter). Its super generic and I feel like I got scammed badly.😢

I wouldnt pay 7 dollars/pounds for E.A ufc 4.2😂😂 give it a year after 1000 updates and you will get a better cheaper game with more fighters😊

Having spent a fair amount of time with ufc 5 i can honestly say I’m disappointed beyond belief. I used to play 4 online quite a bit and playing ufc 5 online feels like a disservice to my inner fight fan. Striking is very spammy and doesn’t reward players with a more realistic approach. I had a fight online and knocked my opponent down 12 times and that is insane given most fighting organizations have knockdown rules for the safety of fighters. ground game is terrible especially if you play career on legendary, the computer usually spams take downs and will hold you on the ground for most part even if you successfully deny transitions and try to escape you’ll 9 times out of 10 be stuck there until they run out of stamina or you’re martial mind lol. the submission change was a nice touch but it isn’t rewarding and it’s very boring after the initial wow factor has worn off. I appreciate what you’re doing as a creator and hope in the future we get the games we deserve.

I would be fine if the career mode let you float weight divisions, challenge opponents, and sim training. Is that so much to ask😢😢

Bro. It’s obvious as day that EA sports just wants peoples money. Fight night champion is the best fighting game they have ever made but they don’t listen. They listen to big corporation telling them what they think is popular and not what pertains to us gamers

People have to take a stand. Stop paying for broken reskinned games that they fuck up. The new striking controls are confusing God awful! There is so much wrong with these games yet they dangle a carrot in front of people and they jump at it. There's a reason they waited 3 years cause they knew you all wouldn't even do a quality check just jump on it. This isn't a new game at all this is UFC 4 $70 DLC

What a shambles. This is 100% UFC4 and It’s basically been the same since UFC3. Absolute joke.

Devastating that EA destroy everything they touch, got rid of all the realism and story and post fight interviews and all the things that made these games great over the years.

Undisputed series are all of them better games and I was 12 when I was playing those.

No chance I’m spending a penny on an update. Stop buying it people, and eventually we’ll get the games we want.
