If you are new to BJJ, this video will get you familiar with the primary positions in Jiu Jitsu. BJJ can be daunting to learn due to the sheer number of techniques. The best way to learn a new skill is to start with the broad strokes, so you have a basic, general understanding of what is possible. We cover the five primary positions of BJJ both offensively and defensively. After watching this video you'll have a pretty good understanding of the basic game. Enjoy!
ОтветитьThe most comprehensive video I’ve been able to find on what you need to know as a newbie. Superb video with tons of great info. You are a natural born teacher. All your videos are full of very wise information, your demonstrations of techniques are brilliant and your movement is so crisp and fluid. Can’t praise this video in particular enough.
ОтветитьIncredible vid. Thank you.
ОтветитьI am amazed this is free. The quality and effort put into the teaching is very impressive. Thank you so much.s
ОтветитьAmazing. A part II would be lovely ;)
Ответить❤🔥
ОтветитьHi there..i am White belt three Stripes..if i focus only in those moves and master them..is it enough ?can i make a complete game with those? OSS
ОтветитьWhite, 3 stripes - going for the first comp in a couple of days. This is a very informative, easy to follow refresher, exactly what I needed
Ответитьthanks for creating this mind map for me
ОтветитьI love to come back to this video, been training for 3 years now and i still watch this one 😂😂 i remember watching this when you fist made it and now my game has evolved massively
ОтветитьThis is exactly the kind of video I needed. The demonstrations are the clearest I've seen so far, the camera angles are chosen perfectly to show all the little details, and the black and white gis on white mats make everything so easy to parse. The video is also comprehensive enough for a beginner to start rolling. I'm rewatching it for the third time now to get ready for my next session. Thank you!
ОтветитьAt 54 years of age, with herniated discs, I have to really think about the value of picking something up off the floor. I can't see myself even attempting any of these moves 😢
ОтветитьBeen training for three years, and this is the best instructional video I’ve ever seen.
ОтветитьThis is as helpful as it is beautiful to watch. Thank you!
Ответитьwhats the backgroundmusic? cant shazam it
ОтветитьOne of the best video of JJB for all Times.❤
ОтветитьClosed Guard, the "signature position of Jiu Jitsu"...that comes from Judo...
ОтветитьThis was an incredible and informative video. Thank you very much i learned a lot!
ОтветитьOne of the most beautifully crafted BJJ vids for white belts that have an appreciation for the fine arts as well as the martial. 🙏✌️🌹
ОтветитьThis was such an amazing video, will watch everyday and focus on mastery of what was taught, i will become a very competent no stripe white bel.
ОтветитьGolden content!
ОтветитьI need to watch this like 9000 times
ОтветитьWow, this is pure gold, thank you! Keep the vids coming i cant get enough
ОтветитьDoes this work for no gi as well?
ОтветитьThis is the way...
ОтветитьBull shit the guard is the superior position. You’re on the bottom still. Look how well it works in a cage. Ground and pound ended that bs ideology. No one immediately pulls guard anymore.
ОтветитьI'm 73 and have been doing BJJ for just short of 2 months. Thirty three training days thus far. I have lots of injuries from other sports, martial arts, military accidents. I'm hoping I get the mobility back in my back, hips and legs to do these maneuvers.
ОтветитьIt’s very helpful to see how you can move from one submission attempt to another. Thank you
Ответитьincredebly useful! I've started this week, I feel like I'll have to get back to it every month for years! Thank you very much!!!
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьAmazing video, really helpful, thank you!
ОтветитьThis is, hands down, the best BJJ video on YT for beginners in BJJ. Thank you so much sir!
ОтветитьGreat video for a noobie like myself! Easy to understand and nicely demonstrated from multiple angles.
Just a correction: omoplata isn’t Portuguese, it comes from Greek and means shoulder blade.
This is the greatest instructional BJJ video of all time. I will be forever greatful to you ❤
ОтветитьPoor blue belts. Always get to be the example partner at my school too lol
ОтветитьThis is such a good video! Your voice and even the music 🎶 helps me concentrate. Well done and nicely explained and the pacing was perfect. Thanks!
ОтветитьWow this video is incredible! Thank you so much for all the hard work you put in to make this
ОтветитьI'll probably watch this 20 times in the next year.

ОтветитьThank you so much for taking the time to create this video. 3 classes in and I was already frustrated because I didn’t understand certain terms and concepts.
ОтветитьWhat's the background music? Sounds like from an older rpg game.
ОтветитьJust started BJJ @ 38 yrs old and with a prior should surgery 3 years ago. Can you advise on exercises to help safeguard my shoulder from re-injury when being on the receiving end of the like Kimura / Omaplata / Armbar?
