The closest thing to a bald eagle I have ever handled was a full grown red tailed hawk. I had gone fishing and found it in the field drooling so I wrapped it in an apron and took him to a wildlife certified vet. That was the most exquisite experiences of my 77 years of life.

Could of done the same thing up in the tree. But I suppose it was more important to get a picture with it.
