CleanMyMac X Review - Top 5 Features

Hi. One question: Can I use CleanMyMac X to free up space on my external hard drives? And if so, do you have any video to guide me?

If you're going to use CleanMyMac X, READ THIS!
Don't ever use CleanMyMac X, it does more harm than good. I used it on two of my mac's and it bricked both of them. Don't ever install this trash software.

I got the week long trial and am deciding whether to buy it or not. I have a MacBook that I used in college and there’s a TON of files I had stored in multiple places and random coding softwares I’d need to use for a semester or two. I spent a lot of hours recently trying to sift through old files, old applications, and other stuff that I didn’t need anymore, but I still was maxed out on storage.

I downloaded this and the biggest help was using that “leftovers” and the large files, mail attachments that I didn’t realize were saving to my computer, and space lens. I freed up like 40 GB of random garbage/apps/coding things I downloaded in college and never successfully fully removed 😂 and somehow couldn’t locate on my own searching through my files. One example is this text editing software used for math/science writing. I uninstalled it and thought I removed all that I needed, and it never showed up in applications or application support or anything. Somehow I found like, 5 GB of supporting files or something using clean my Mac that I finally got rid of.

It gets 2 thumbs up from me for that purpose. Can’t say much about longer term. It was sooooo worth it to find and remove all this junk but these days I’m not messing around with too many applications on my Mac.

how can i change the application language from chinese to English?

I don't know if you still respond to these comments, but I recently downloaded (purchased) CleanMyMax X. I opened the "Large and Old Files" option, selected about 15-20 files, many of them duplicates/triple downloads and 1 downloaded 4 times. But now I can't find ANY information on how to delete those files! Yours is the 5th CMM X video I've watched, but NO ONE mentions how to delete the Large and Old files I've selected! Please help. Thank you, sir.

Its a scam. You get the trial version and sit there for a hour while it scans then you have to buy it. It doesn't do anything.
