I love the interaction between Shadow and the Biolizard, Shadow knows it's not the creature's fault and wants to end its suffering.

Ray Chase and Ben Diskin is in the cast?! I wonder who are they voicing

I think they tried to give Mephiles the same flair as Goku Black in terms of demeanor

Love that Mephiles opened with the kill move

Biolozard: A sibling creation that embodies the racking grief of their fellow creator, instead of its true purpose(being an ultimate lifeform).
Metal Overlord: A fellow "fake hedgehog" that truly believes him to be the true ultimate lifeform.
Mephilies: One half of a actual ultimate life form that ripped the main character's flow to help him truly be completed.

All these bosses are symbolic hints of what Black Doom sees and/or exepcts from Shadow.

There might be a future DLC for the game. In the game's files, there is a boss named perfect black doom. Sega did say that they were gonna use some ideas from sonic frontiers for future installments. In Shadow Generations, the open hub world reminds me of the open world in sonic frontiers. Both sonic and shadow eyes glow like their movie counterparts when they use the new powers they gain which is some form of corruption to them. For Sonic it's cyberspace energy for Shadow it's doom powers. Also, the doom blast reminds me a lot of the cross slash. So there might be a future DLC where Shadow gets a new form from his doom powers just like how Sonic got a new form from cyber corruption in Sonic Frontier's DLC.

Something cool that I don't know if anyone has ever noticed... But Neo Devil Doom looks a lot like Metal Overlord. It has an elongaged neck/tail, a heavy bottom that serves as the weak spot with the glowing green orb or the eye, and from that area dangle tentacles of flesh or debris. Both have wings, and both are cyclopean.

Maybe the result of Metal Sonic gaining Doom's DNA through absorbing Shadow's Data, and then mixed with obvious influences from absorbing Chaos as well?

So how is hard bosses unlocked?

dang, sonic team is really one upping their game in these boss fights. The Black doom flying section was sick as hell, I can imagine a super sonic fight going like this.

Would be a insane throwback if he actually used chaos blast to end black doom.

I genuinely love how mephiles is portrayed in this, this is basically his second chance and he doesn't want to pass that opportunity up, his desperation shows and him saying "I want to exist" was easily helped by the delivery of his VA

Black doom is only hard cuz of me not being able to master the powers fast. There’s literally not enough time to learn how to use doom wings, doom morph is kinda confusing and doom surf just makes me mad. But the surf portion was the easiest imo
