My bf is shorter than me but I am higher than others. He has much more muscles and force than me. He also controls much more his force than I do towards him, and I know he is stronger. He did fighting sports I did not. He is also not the kind to let you down.
Hight is not that important, you cannot control it. So don’t make shitting surgery for that, it’s like changing skin color, you are what you are no need to be ashamed but be proud to follow your dreams with the person you love.

Height shaming guys is the equivalent of weight shaming girls. So if some millennial chick makes fun of your height, just comment on her weight. Like "omg you are shorter than i thought" should be replied with "yeah but you are also fatter than i thought, so i guess we are both a miss".

If you're really 5'11 you'll always be considered tall, it's because a lot of 5'9 say they're 5'11.

A girl saying 5'11 is short is like her saying 6'2 isn't tall, 5'11 is borderline tall in a lot of countries or is average but 6'2 is tall almost everywhere except in the tallest Western countries where the average height is almost 6'1, I'm 5'11.
