I literally can’t think of a better video on how us age groupers should prepare for an Ironman. I’m not just saying that because you used MOTTIV, I’m saying it because it’s so detailed, practical, and realistic for people to apply their real lives. So happy for you and honoured to be a small part of your hard work!!!
ОтветитьFantastic breakdown! Thank you for all the details!
ОтветитьHeadphone warning.
The music almost deafened me.
The music clips between you talking are super loud. Video was great tho
ОтветитьDude, you rock! PMA!
ОтветитьThank you so much, Patrick! I have watched this so many times now, with playbacks to keep up with the fast pace 😄 This is so useful. I have come a long way from couch potatoe to finishing IM 70.3 in Switzerland this year. Next year my goal is to finish IM Switzerland- full distance! So many good tips! Thanks again!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your journey on a sub 10, motivates me to go for it myself... One thing I would suggest for the bike is to look into a disc wheel setup which will add a 1-2 kph overall speed boost for the same power and that could save you a lot of minutes on your next effort 😀... All the best!
ОтветитьAwesome video man! Thanks very much for sharing. All the best in Nice! Show them what us plant powered athletes can do!!
ОтветитьSuch a good and motivating Video! Thanks!
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this Patrick. Whilst on my indoor trainer yesterday 😅 I like your mental approach and value for the supporting habits as well as obsessing over detail. You didn’t talk about running power? Anyway my goal this year is going sub-5 for my next 70.3 and first Ironman next year - might just have to try for sub-10 😉
Ответитьthanks for the details sir. Re-starting my journey in a couple of days. Goal : ironman without food and water :) . Cheers, much love.
ОтветитьInspirational and most useful, as usual. Your place in Nice is truly deserved! Congrats!
ОтветитьCheers man! Way to go. I'm a new Swim bike run athlete And I will implement your advice as much as possible. I'm doing a sprint triathlon this weekend. I am coming from being severely injured in 2021, having survived a hit and run by a motorist. Thank you for these tips. Greatly appreciated!
ОтветитьI noticed you had a CGM - Continuous Glucose Monitor. May I ask brand, is it a medical need, how did you manage to get without prescription because I am finding it hard to find one that doesn't require physician prescription.
ОтветитьGood video but music WAY too loud.
Ответитьcongrat
Ответитьgreat video!
ОтветитьLove your videos!!!!
ОтветитьIt's a fantastic video that I'll recommend, thank you very much for the hard work Patrick !
ОтветитьBest Ironman training video ever. Smart training. Adapting to surroundings. Controlling training factors such as gravel vs road bike. Experience knowing when to back off or push and using metrics like TSS. Moved from tris to ultras but many principles still apply. Great video. 🤘🏽
Ответитьmusic between speeshes is to loud
ОтветитьNo meat or fish?
Ответитьgreat
ОтветитьIf you have a history of sprained ankles, it's likely that there's some build-up of scar tissue that will make them more likely to occur in perpetuity. I'm not sure if there are a lot of shockwave therapy providers in Italy, but if you can find one and have them clean up your ankle, you'll really decrease the risk of re-injury.
ОтветитьHell of a content! Thx!
ОтветитьThank u man
ОтветитьAbsolutely incredible
ОтветитьGreat work PD!
ОтветитьThis video is simply a masterpiece!
2 years ago I saw your video about the first Ironman and now you have qualified for the world championship. You have made incredible progress and I appreciate the fact that you have always been detailed and realistic in describing your journey and giving us suggestions.
Complimenti Patrick
That's some serious gear you used there...
ОтветитьGreat advice. Really fun to listen to and see the insight.
Will 100% never support taren as I think he is the biggest fake in this fitness community, but great video all the same.
Fantastic video as usual Patrick! - one question on your brick sessions - did you use full IM hydration and nutrition volumes on your bike? Ever had any issues with stomach cramps at the start of the brick run? At IM Hamburg I had massive stomach cramp from the start to the end of the marathon which changed my run strategy a lot. Thanks for taking the time and effort to make these videos.
ОтветитьThank you so much, great information.... 👍🏻
ОтветитьLove it when a good video & performance gets the recognition it deserves, well done Patrick! Inspired.
ОтветитьWhat an amazing journey thank you so much for sharing! Can’t wait to follow along with your next adventure in Nice!
ОтветитьReally interesting video. Many thanks for your job.
ОтветитьNitric Oxide boost from cigarettes. Go man.
ОтветитьCome funziona MOTTIV?
ОтветитьIt looks like you have your extensions taped together - is this not considered a fairing?
ОтветитьGreat interview 👍 I saw Mark at the Durbs Ironman 70.3, real legend ! Fish belongs in the water 😂
ОтветитьLove this ❤. Great video Partrick. Well done
ОтветитьCongratulations, I'm from Brazil and you inspired me for my daily training
ОтветитьReally awesome and realistic video for those who have a life 😅👍🏼 also for none triathletes (like me) helpful tips. I am training more strength (and strength skills actually) besides my spinning sessions.
I am currently building up a solid cardio base again, then I will add running again.
Also I experimented with EAAs which I can highly highly recommend, same as you did. Maybe I will give the Fusion sup a try. Sounds really interesting.
Keep up the great work you did and again, thanks for sharing the really interesting insights 👌🏼 very helpful to all sports enthusiasts I think👍🏼👍🏼
Great Video !! Thanks
Ответитьsuper cooles und ausführliches Video. Top
