Not unexplained. It targeting flares dropped by a military jet for training. As soon as they get to the mountain the “mysteriously” disappeared. So this is the history channel just flat out lying.

When I was a child, about 12y.o. I saw a huge triangular ship in Jacksonville, Fla. It was hovering just over my neighborhood for several minutes, then took off with incredible speed. This was during summertime, probably around 1961-62 at dusk…you could see the 3 lights but also the metallic grey structure. I never told anyone, cause I knew I’d be bullied because of it.

I have a theory, that the object observed here was an experimental aircraft, designed in the 60ties by Lockheed Martin, dubbed the CL-1201, go look up the dimensions and then compare them to this, I have, and it's rather close. Plus out of the 700 witnesses, not one government agency talked to them, interesting!

Many said it was low like 30ft while it was a mile wide but this is hard to believe because unless he was in mile wide park this thing would have hit hills, poles , lines and homes . The only way this could happen is if it was v shape vertically . However something was there but some of the witnesses are blowing out of proportion

Don't you think it's weird that the aliens would show up then? Why didn't they move above towns in other places? It just seems odd to immediately jump on board when we don't know the real answer. But this is a case of Occam's razor! The disappearance of the “unknown object” was just moving past the Sierra Estrella mountains, and those lights? Many people have come forth with way better explanations like, night time skydivers with flares or a better hypothesis is that it was the “Halloween Balloon Spooktacular,” which is a group of skydivers called the Arizona Skyhawks who skydived with bright magnesium flares for a show! There were four of them in general, and there were four lights seen at the “UFO sightings. Even a man by the name of Robert Sheaffer( Who is a UFO specialist) said that this was just parachuters holding flares in the sky, AND that he's able to identify all of the parachuters! Besides the lights could be who knows how far away, you can see a lighthouse from 5 miles away, i'm sure you can see other lights far away as well, like flares. There have also been times where UFO sightings have been debunked, like how around the 1990’s people thought they saw a UFO but it was actually flares dropped over a testing range at the Luke Air Force Base!

I was there in 1997 stationed at MCAS Yuma and saw the Phoenix lights. We sat out on the catwalk of the barracks watching them.

I saw this in New Mexico, same night, hovering above Gallup. I was driving from Taos to visit a friend who lived in Gallup, and as I was reaching the town, there were those lights hovering above the city. It was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. It was massive. There is no way that it was a plane or flares.

This is what I saw in 2015 in Chicago up north on Addison. I was getting off work from Target 🎯 and I was waiting for the train and 3 of these exact things just came outta nowhere they were very close together. They were formed in the shape of a triangle! They Hovered over the train station for about 5-10 mins. I wanted to record but my phone went dead the second I lifted my phone to record. Other ppl were recording though. They all started to go in different directions but one stayed above the Train station for about 5-10 mins(it was low and very close to us). As I watched the other 2 fly away they were all still visible just separated (still forming a triangle shape though) just separately now. Then a few mins later the one hovering over the train station joined the others and they alll disappear into thin air. We had no idea where they went they just disappeared. Mind you, we were watching their every move and they just disappeared. That’s the part that fascinated me the most.They also had red lights beaming from all 3. This is literally exactly what I saw and I haven’t even watched the video yet.

I grew up in phx. I remember lights across the Western Sky in the 70's. They were in a line, and I believe there were six. No explanation given at the time

H,mm no tv stations or proper witness footage bc we had cameras then. If it only flew over usa. Im calling it BS bc i dont trust america and plus their technology is 60 years ahead of us. Usa military are covering up so much.

Nice flares.....these things in videos never just shoot off into the sky to wow the viewers, they always just fizzle out one at a time just like a flare.
