What..? Isn't there functionality for scd2 out of the box as a transformation in informatica...? If that is the case its very suprising and quite quite disturbing. Even old open source ETL software has this..

such a limbo you are. you should have used lookup instead of joiner transformation to save one step. why not use a md5 function. you are a fresher. joker
