Love that jacket. Looks very sharp on you. And that terry coverup!!! Perfection. Good finds - and good advice, too. My first "vintage" was a 1940s velvet hat that my friend used for a skit at church. I talked her into giving it to me, and I still have it. I bet I was 10 or 12.

I’d be interested in a your thoughts on which fabrics to look out for, which to avoid, best composition etc. i come across a lot of acrylic and poly mixes that put me off a lot of items.

I think I will wear it with a Skye Blue top of some sort.
Absolutely needed content. Wearable and translatable from "bralette to tank, to sweater to t- shirt. Bralette occasions and years of life are quite limited. Option for the robe? Shorts and a t shirt?

WOW!!!!.... that particular thrift store is ginormous!!... Thrifting is my favorite. I've been doing it for more than 20 years but I think if I walked into the store I'll probably pass out.😂😂..... this particular location would probably be a situation where I could do one aisle per day... until I got through the store I have never seen a thrift store with this much stuff😁❤️

Honestly, I think wearing the Escada belt over jeans does not elevated jeans but lowered the belt. Never wear nylon in summer, you will be cooked
