Originally from Sonoma County: I have been obssessed with LA since high school, at least 10 years! My parents love Universal Studios and we used to take family trips to LA all the time. The first time they took us I was 3. I grew up looking at all those pictures, and tbh I really think that's what sparked my love for it too.. fast forward after high school I moved to Carson for school at CSUDH. I met my husband in college, he's from Los Angeles (El Sereno). I would go home with him on Sundays to watch his baseball games. I started learning about all the neighborhoods; Rose Hills, Eagle Rock, Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights, etc. I didn't know there were so many neighborhoods! I have this habit of always looking up where I am no matter what so that's how I started learning and identifying neighborhoods. As I've gotten older I've explored other neighborhoods/places just out of curiosity. My sisters and I share this hobby of "going to see nice houses" and manifesting what we want to have one day! Additionally, during my time at DH, I also met the most amazing group of people who I consider my lifetime friends. My third home purchase will be in LA, I think I found my neighborhood. ❤️

I feel like they dont wanna discuss politics in the podcast🥲😭 i completely understand that, but in a way if they wanna claim to be #1 latino this and latino that. As a viewer, whos latina, has had similar up bringings, i connect w you guys. but i also protect my undocumented friends and family, my daca friends, and family members. Obviously it important, BECAUSE LA and California is basically stolen land. And they were both raised by immigrant mexican WOMEN. I wouldnt necessarily shove democracy down everyone’s throat, but the importance of how this election is impacting the latino community. And how it is important to be educated on who you’ve voted for. I am a dedicated viewer, i love watching this podcast with all my heart, but i would also be saddened if you guys were just throwing “latino” on everything and not even standing up for latino rights.
