What we did in GALLE & BENTOTA Sri Lanka for 5 days! Road trip, where we stay and train ride

Second time in Sri Lanka!
Escaped for 5 days to one of my favorite Asian countries. This time we travelled to the west and southwest coast of the country-BENTOTA & GALLE. We never had enough vitamin sea but this time it's a different resort experience from this exotic country. We stayed in Taru Villas-The Long island in Bentota and the place was perfect for us. Just 5 minute walk to the beach and about 5-10 minute ride to downtown area. We decided to rent a motorbike to explore 1 day in Galle, one of the major cities in Sri Lanka where the famous tourist attraction-Galle Fort is situated.
This Unesco World Heritage Site was built during the Dutch period within an area of 52 hectares. In 1796, the Galle Fort was dominated by the British and the City remained the administrative center of the south of Ceylon(present day Sri Lanka) as a British territory. In 1988, UNESCO announced the Galle Fort as a World Heritage under the name of Old Town of Galle.

This vacation is more of relaxation and laid back than my previous visit in Sri Lanka. So you consider to choose this part of the country to explore than the other famous spots of the country? Let me know your thoughts and comment down below.
