what are the great things about global shutter for video ?
ОтветитьExciting! I was about to get an A1 but I’ll be waiting for this A93 now!
ОтветитьI'm worried about the ISO performance, but seems to be very good from that composite night shot but still need to see more tests.
ОтветитьSony have not used the A9 sensor in any other camera, so they may keep it that way. Then again the A7Siii sensor ended up in the A1, FX3 and VZ-E1 in different forms, so perhaps something similar could happen. They obviously won't want to devalue the A9iii straight away so don't hold your breath on that. Maybe this will push Canon to release an R1 with whatever they have sooner. As an A1 user I'm still disappointed in Sony for the news about the Firmware upgrade next March... still no talk of simple features like focus stacking. No open gate video or animal eye-AF in video like the A74 that has half the processing power. If Sony doesn't ship with a feature just assume you will never get it 😢
Ответитьwhen are they going to let my guy use the a9iii
ОтветитьI'm going to sell my kidney
ОтветитьI hope the a7sIV will also have a Global Shutter sensor and leave the 12 megapixel sensor, more is not needed for video
ОтветитьWouldn't surprise me if this sensor (or a downsized version) ends up in the next a7sIV ....
ОтветитьThe logo is not gold anymore its clearly not their flagship. They will have a a1m2 that will take that spot. I doubt we will see a a1m2 released before the games next summer since the a9iii will only be shipping a few months before so best guess a1m2 announce oct 2024 and shipping early 2025.
ОтветитьI have a big feeling that this same sensor on A9iii will be implied on their FX cine line in the future. Have no idea its gonna be FX9ii or FX6ii, but global shutter is a pretty good selling point on their cine lineups. Especially Red already has a market share on their prosumer cine camera Komodo. Sony definitely love to take a bite out of it.
ОтветитьHey where’s the camera? You don’t the camera! Clickbait 😂
ОтветитьGame changer? For the 1% of planet photographers. I prefer my nikon z9 and 45,6 megapixeles with “only” 20 fps in raw… and cf express type b cards
ОтветитьWhere is the dji osmo pocket 3 did you not get one
ОтветитьI'm selling my home to buy this Camera.
ОтветитьEven though the FX3/FX6 already has amazing rolling shutter performance, the upcoming sensors for the Cinema Line cameras with global shutter will be a nice update.
Ответитьi honestly wish it got more video features to really seal the deal for Sony as the leading mirrorless camera brand. lack for open gate, lack of 1:1 readout and not optimal software support really doesn't lend itself well
Ответитьi hope Sony makes an FX1 with this sensor, with true 24p, DCI 4k support up to 120p, open gate and shutter angle with good exposure tools
ОтветитьSo as someone that does a lot of low light photography (astro, concerts, events) and landscapes should i go with a7siii, A1 or A9iii. A lot of my images are published on magazines, web and billboards. I’ve been using the A7iii but its time for an upgrade.
ОтветитьThat is quite amazing!
ОтветитьPlease note A9III does not have dual ISO. This also makes us wonder how good is the dynamic range as Sony omit that in their presentation which is quite unusual.
ОтветитьYeah, I'm curious about the DR, color and thermals of this camera. Footage looked solid. Usually global shutter has a catch
ОтветитьBeautiful very impressive but they will forget you with any future updates 😂 after that 6000$
ОтветитьI hope the next/newer model on A1 range will also have this and extra extra more. Time will tell 😀
ОтветитьI just preordered 6 a9iii and 7 300mm 2.8
ОтветитьWhat a brilliant hit by Sony and thank you for the video Jason <3
ОтветитьI wonder if less dynamic range in video will really matter much.. considering so many movies and series the last decade looked awesome, which their cameras had lesser dynamic range by todays standards ;)
Except for mabye an electronic ND or "professional" connectors, this cam won't come with many flaws.. and ticks sooooo many boxes..
I heard global shutter is difficult to be engineered to be as amazing in low light like the current CMOS sensors in the FX3,6?
ОтветитьPre photo has been in Olympus OMD cameras for years so thats not a new Sony thing.
ОтветитьCan't wait for the release. Gotta save up and trade-in my gear!
ОтветитьYay‼️‼️‼️🎉🎉🎉🎉
Finally someone knew how to explain this camera ‼️‼️‼️‼️
Bravo‼️ 🙌🏼👏🏼
Does the global shutter thingy affect video too (i.e. less rolling shutter)?
ОтветитьOrdered one but don’t know what to do with my a1 and a7s3 ?
ОтветитьWhat about battery life?
ОтветитьIs this a good camera for video compared to the fx3 or 30?
ОтветитьThe fact that sony had 24mp global shutter sensors years back in industrial imaging i expected global shutter camera with a1 😂😂😂
ОтветитьMy wife would kjll me if I purchase this 😂 But I'll buy it what ever is cost
ОтветитьSony A1ii prediction: Same 50mpix resolution but with global shutter and around 60fps plus all the other enhancements in the A9iii
Ответитьgreat for vlogs?
ОтветитьPls tell me No Overheating!
Ответитьnow they should give us a medium format with a global shutter and internal NVME SSD.
ОтветитьWaiting for A1 ii
Ответитьnext video " I switched from Red back to Sony"
ОтветитьI’m intrigued
ОтветитьRandom question. Are you an Apple Guy, Android, or both?
ОтветитьCool for sport and wildlife Photographers.... not a big deal for Videographers... Red Komodo had GS years ago and is cheaper...
ОтветитьHey jason something is wrong with your video reach.... I have subscribed you but not got the update and also no recommendations...hope you will check ❤
ОтветитьWhen you say video shooters won't choose this camera, why not? I love video and I'm just starting out. I love slow mo and want 4k 120fps at least with no crop... should I go somewhere else? FX3, FX6 better? Why?
ОтветитьIs this better than the FX3/FX6 for film?
ОтветитьAfter selling Mirrorless cameras with defective electronic shutters for over 10 years!
ОтветитьOlympics must just be around the corner 😉
