Didn't think much of this song when I first saw it on Yon's page, then I decided to check it out and was slapped in the face by the average queer person (who was) in Indonesia experience translated into a song

10/10 very comforting to know that I'm not the only one out there

I dont know what the humans are like there, but here, even when I legit tell humans all my insecurities and llamas after they trigger it, they will continue trigger it. Like, full stop, I could funny at my arm while in conversation with a manager, and they would ignore that while telling me what to do. Like, I am a freak, but they are monsters. Hypocrisy is lame and gae.

This is kinda funny, since i was born on august 17th, and I'm Dutch, and August 17th is Indonesia's National Independence Day, so this is funny..

I love this song, it's so beautiful, and even without being Indonesian I can totally see all the symbolism and meaning behind this song. It must hurt to have to leave such a beautiful place just to be true to yourself, but I hope you find that the ability to be free and expressive makes up for the negatives. That being said, even though I can't speak Javanese/Indonesian, I would love to hear this song, or some version of it, in the home language, I can only imagine.
