Quite striking, but both the cassette and reel to reel recorders had inferior signal to noise ratios compared to ED beta vcrs or DAT decks. Stereo ED beta vcr's were actually used in some pro studios for a short period until DAT came along. Still, this is an impressive and nostalgic display that I would personally really enjoy owning and using. Despite the flaws of the media of that era, I have fond memories of countless hours spent recording my vinyl, even with all those hated clicks and pops.
