It's strange that they would patch this when it's simply world exploration and single player fun getting good gear/horses early on. Who does it hurt? It isn't even cheating. They worry about patching the wrong things when train heists don't even work properly.

For the record, the horse hack north of Saint Denis doesn’t work. After I tried for a good horse 2 times they completely disappeared all together. No matter how many times I re-saved and tried again, the horses do not appear.

anyone playing in 2024? (its my second time playing rdr) does the respawn still work? i rode my 15$ horse from valentine to saint dennis just to try this but its been hours an i havent had any luck yet

I have the reload 15 tries just north of Saint Denis. Never gave me anything other than Kentucky Saddlers, Morgan’s, and Tennessee Walkers if any horses spawned at all. Sometimes there were no horses. This tip doesn’t work to get a variety of horses

I don't really know if this is really faster but if you want to get the arabian black horse that is slightly better than the white one without doing the reloading stuff, you can go in the night at saint denis around the center there will be people fighting (3 if i remember correctly) and here is the black arabian a lil on the side of the fight, no one is going to notice you because the fight is going to get pretty intense. It will be indicated on your mini map with the white dot as a lil mission.

How do u get these to spawn do u just keep resetting?

I just spent half an hour trying this any which way possible, always the same 3 different horses spawning; Morgan, Kentucky Saddler and Tennessee Walker, nothing else. Too bad I couldn't keep cranky granny's donkey.

I have a thoroughbred and I love the speed, but it spooks when a hawk flies overhead, It's scared of its own shadow.

Aren't there also a chestnut and a wrapped bridle arabian? Did he forget them or simply didn't know about them...

Except in online mode, White Arabian is the best story mode horse you can get at max bound. Its have big stamina, have huge health and have great speed. The cons with this horse they afraid when meet predator or if you bring it at war. But in story mode you very rare to use horse to do that. Before they add red dead online i try every horse i can found in game before update from online. And the best horse you got only this white arabian (at max bond). The second is horse from Pre-order bonuses because this horse really tanky and bot afraid with predator and gun shoot. After that other horse have sama cons and pro, like shire you got from Hosea have same thing like pre order bonuses horse except they slower. Other speed horse like lower version of Arabian so you won't care of them EXCEPT how they pattern and color. Even horse from side quest still can't beat White Arabian at Max bond. So yeah best horse in story mode it white Arabian. Except i don't know what new horse thet add after red dead online available, i heard they add some weapons but i kinda lazy to play PC version after beat the game perfectly in ps4.

for people playing trough the game again, or playing it for the first time on the most recent version. this video is outdated.

the black Arabian is the best horse, stats 8,7,8,7 you can get it either trough the method shown here if it still works (i don't think it does because i have only ever seen 2 horse breeds at this location, Tennessee walker or Morgan)

or trough a random event in Saint Denis that happens only in the evening or at night, there is a man and woman getting mugged. save them so they walk off into town. near where you spot them during the even their horse will be parked beside the road. its the black Arabian. all you have to do is get on and escape any lawmen. the bounty you get will be way lower then buying it.

with the latest patch of the game i am also pretty sure its impossible to get the rose bay gray Arabian in the wild, or by stealing it at a farm. its only available in the blackwater stable. which means you cant get it as Arthur. as far as Arabian horses go, pre prologue the Black Arabian is the best horse, the white Arabian the second best, and the Red chestnut one the third best. with the warped brindle one coming in last.

i also believe the white Arabian that spawns in the wild is always female, with one of the only if not the only white Arabian male in the game being during the mission where you steal the Braithwaite horses. there are probably videos on how to get that horse by glitching during the mission.

also i've literally never been bucked by an Arabian in this game. (only first played it 2 years or so after launch) unless it was directly attacked by an animal like a wolf or bear, especially if you have max loyalty it does not seem to care about gun fights at all and it just runs over snakes and does the whole im scared sound, but does not actually buck me off or run off in a random direction. like some other horses do.

the black and white Arabian are the 2 best horses Arthur can get in that order. whilst for john its the black Arabian and rose grey bay Arabian.

if anyone want a complete list of horse stats, the list on the red dead wiki is kept up to date with the latest patches.

Is this patched already? Also that list doesn’t show the Perlino Andalusian.

Another good horse, if you dont want to loose control when they're spooked, is the Andalusian, they're a war type, when level 4 bonding they never flench at danger, well they panic but they dont buck you off like Arabians do. They aren't the fastest but they're strong.

There’s four a white red black and gray

The horse location has been patched and it doesn't work anymore. You can still get horses there pretty easily, but they are just common horses. Last played this game in 2019 and got two Arabians, a Turkomon and a Foxtrotter in the stable from then. Started playing again a few days ago and tried the three house trick just junk horses.

I tried this today and it doesn't work anymore. Just Morgan and Kentucky breeds will spawn.

There's a bounty hunting mission in Valentine and the man you're looking for has a female dapple dark gray Hungarian Half Bred you can help yourself to her and she makes for a very good and loyal horse. I kept her as my main horse for pretty much the entire game until..... well you know 😢

White Arabian horse is ONE of the best horses but not the best. Also, the horse isn’t really free. You have to go through the pain of trying to tame the mf

I lost my horse due to some aimless bounty hunters and I had a chance to revive it , so I ran all the way to saint denis to the general store to get some horse reviver, but alas I had barely tapped some strangers and they threw a hissy fit to the cops and I was wanted, I came back and somehow I did it AGAIN, my horse was still alive so I still had I chance, so I came back in hopes the general store wasnt closed due to my actions, and when I was entering a COP HAD SAW ME AND SHOT AT ME CAUSING MY TO NOT BE ABLE TO BUY ANYTHING. At this point I just let myself die, and when I did I reloaded my autosave (extremely inconvenient autosave btw) and I had some crappy colored chestnut horse, I bombed that one and now im looking for a new horse to call mine here. Thanks man.
