Judy Garland - Over the Rainbow in True Stereo!

February 23, 1939: The first of the last two days of shooting on "The Wizard of Oz" (save for some retakes done in March and a few pick-up shots in June).  Filmed on these two days, or possibly just this day, was Judy Garland's iconic “Over the Rainbow."

To give you an idea of how long the production of the film took, Judy pre-recorded the song four months earlier on October 7, 1938, and that was the third of many recording sessions for the film.

Thanks to today's amazing audio technology, we're able to enjoy this masterpiece in true stereo, as expertly remastered in 2022.
