Hi, I tried dieting, exercising, all to no avail. I had some blood tests done in 2022, and it turned out to be an issue with my thyroid, and I was then placed on medication. My dosage is being tweaked as needed. I was never at the level where I was not able to care for my own needs, or independently walk more than a few feet without getting out of breath. I never really wanted to be super model thin, but I knew I didn't want my weight to get to that point. Now, I don't know anyone from this family in real life, so I don't know if this is their reality. If that is their reality, I don't know if Tammy also has a physical disability on top of her weight, but if her weight is the sole cause of her immobility, then I know I don't want that for myself or my family and friends.

A few years ago, a stomach virus kept me up all night one night, and while my main symptoms mostly resolved within a few days, my appetite was erratic for months afterward. I ended up losing around 30 lbs, which my doctor at the time was saying I needed to do. Mind you, I was never over 180, as far as I know, but I was over the weight my doctor (who is no longer with the practice that I go to) was saying was my cutoff. I dropped from 156 or 157 lbs to 128 lbs in a matter of about 3 or 4 months. However, once my appetite returned to normal, I ended up gaining back all of the weight I lost.

I had COVID in the summer of 2022, and I again ended up not eating much other than Ritz Crisp & Thins for 2 or 3 weeks, and a similar thing happened. I ended up losing over 20 lbs, but this time, when my appetite returned to normal, I was reluctant to eat as much as I used to, for fear of gaining back all of the weight I lost, like I did after my appetite returned to normal when I had the stomach bug.

When I was younger I was kinda fat so when I went to the scale I always sucked my belly in 😅and I was only 70 panda when I did that put I was actually 90 😅

What's crazy is I was almost Amy's weight just 20 more pounds and I would've been there. But I could still move freely and do regular shit.

Watching this again makes me super happy and proud of how much she's changed and she's always remained positive. Now she's healthy and has her two beautiful babies and I'm just really happy for her!

Okay but can we talk about how sweet that man is. "Absolutely, we can help you." With a smile on his face, and it's cuts to him saying he's never been in this situation before, but he handled it with such grace and class.

Rip and huge shoutout to the care team and medical professionals that have to/had to take care of Amy when she’s in the hospital. Imagine rolling here on a bed pan or putting her on a commode true hero’s.🙏🏼 👩‍⚕️ 👨‍⚕️ 🏥

i’m so proud of amy and how far she’s come. she has kids now, a great husband (stan michael 😝), and shes been successful in her weight loss journey. i feel like tammy has always been jealous of amy and her being successful. unfortunately, tammy doesn’t realize that she CAN do it. all she has to do is believe in her self. i hope in the future we’ll see her be successful as well. i have such hope for her. since she’s married now and her husband has weight loss goals as well, i believe it would be easier if they did it together and supported each other throughout the journey.

Diet soda obviously doesn’t cancel out anything. But it doesn’t make you gain weight in and of itself. It can make you a little hungrier, but not make you gain weight by itself

Thursday September 29th 2022.. I hope these ladies have found what it is that they need to succeed. This is the first I've heard of both of them. I myself am trying to lose a little bit of weight. It's not as extreme as these ladies but the bottom line is this.. at the end of the day.. if you want to lose the weight or have success with pretty much anything in your life.. you need to get off your ass and do it. Excuses don't work. And I can already tell one of these two ladies probably is going to be an epic failure. I hate to say it like that but that's how I see it.

When Amy cry I cry. Her face though? Ugh I just want to take her pain away. I’m plus size. My daughter is 15 and was headed down that road. I looked at her one day and saw the weight she was picking up. She cried and put herself down. She made the decision to change. She walked, a lot. Drank lots of water but I didn’t want her restricting her calories too much. She went from 170-175 to her current weight of 127. Now she’s a cheerleader and gets lots of exercise.
