I watch this fight often just because Devin really danced around the ring and picked Kambosos apart for 8-9 rounds. In front of 40k people. I can’t wait to see him at 140lbs. He is a special talent.

people saying kambosis fought the wrong fight, he fought the same way vs teofemo Lopez the only time he exchanged with combinations is when teo was overly agressive besides that he was outboxing teo. Kambosis is honestly and counter puncher that only engages in large combinations when necessary if his opponents isn't throwing many combinations you won't see him for the most part throw spurts of combinations either. he might throw 3-4 punch combinations here and there but he is not this in the pocket aggressive fighter idk where that came from. I can see why he wanted a lomacheko fight he has confidence in his counter ability to the body and hand speed, I don't think it would be enough tho for loma.

Kambosis lost this fight because he thought he could try and play Haney's game and Box with him allowing Devin to dictate the pace and control distance and that's a big mistake. Especially because Haney has an excellent left Jab, one of the best I've seen in the lightweight division in the last decade 🥊🥊
