This movie is disgusting. This is Hollywood giving itself a slap on the wrist for all the abuse its inflicted on its actresses. This is Hollywood throwing up its hands and yelling "Okay, we know we fucked up, can we just move on?" while continuing those same practices that have plagued Hollywood for years.

This movie also completely neglects several issues:

1) The same women who blew the Whistle on Weinstein had no problem posing in pics with him, eating at his dinner table, holding him by the arm, hugging him, kissing him on the cheek. This movie is just Hollywood absolving itself of any blame towards themselves and the whistleblowers who were willing to ride his coattails for clout. Both Weinstein and the actresses that associated with him are to blame, but the movie never acknowledges this.

2) The movie completely ignored the men and children who still get sexually abused in Hollywood. Terry Crews admitted to being sexually harrassed by a high-level Hollywood executve in 2017, and save for people laughing at him, it was never brought up again in the media. Corey Feldman has been calling out the sexual abuse of children for years, and to this day, people still call him crazy. Then of course there's Dan Schneider, who's conduct towards the minors in his shows was put on full blast, and yet he was able to retire while writing a pilot for a new show. Jenny McCarthy sexually assaulted Justin Beiber, going as far as to spank him on stage.

Sexual abuse in Hollywood is a RAMPANT issue, and has been going on for years, and almost completely unpunished. Yet THIS films has the unmitigated gall to paint a brush over it in favor of the women who macked on Weinstein for years, then called out his behavior when it was convenient. Now anytime someone brings up the numerous abused allegations that happen all the time in Hollywood, they can just point at this movie as proof that it gets called out, and that's not good enough. EVERYONE needs to own up, not just Weinstein.

Hypocrisy made flesh.

And an objectively terrible film at that, with most characters staring at screens or each other with no dialogue for most of it, and half an hour of stock music over characters walking/driving/running/crying.

This is truly SAD to think they just caught a few (E.g. Weinstein, Epstain) of a HUGE network of depraved people sexually abusing others. These two sick people did not work alone and others cover up for them yet no one else has been prosecuted. No wonder why Child Trafficking is the Second largest Criminal Industry and instead of fighting and focus on this, we are fighting about who can use the right bathroom.

read my disappointment with the movie.....overall a great movie but the Woke-Joke can never bypass the cheap shot with the opening allegations against Trump and that gawd awful appeal of the logical fallacy....we couldn't get Trump so how will we get Harvey....post hoc, ergo propter hoc....and they fail to bring in another Democrat example in Jeffrey Epstein....that would upset other notable Democrats without a doubt who were Jerry's islander visitors

I just watched the movie, and I'm not that easy to impress with biopics/ depictions of real stories, but this was such a legitimately good film that I will buy the book now. I love how they and their stories are not at all encouraging collective man-hating or radical hysteria, but in fact shares the real story of clever, thoughtful, brave journalists who have given the Weinstein victims (+ all victims of sexual harassment/abuse anywhere) a voice. These two and the New York Times team behind them deserve all their credit for taking down that established self-righteous predator with the entire system he built.

I watched it -it sucked. It's a Hollywood movie-they never tell the truth in Hollywood. All men are bad-all women are good. That's the message. More Liberal propaganda.

This is what happens when you run out of movie stars...they may be fine actresses but they lack the star power to draw butts into cinemas. Epic fail.
