ОтветитьRIP Robbie, ty for introducing me to your music...
Ответить1987 Back-up vocals include Peter Gabriel. Also, it's a tribute to The Band.
ОтветитьHey Robbie if you're out there can you touch me can you see me I don't know if you're out there can you reach me lay a flower in the snow... Beautiful song thank you mr. Robertson I don't know how many times I've listened to this song but everytime I listen to it it's like hearing it for the first time it touches me in so many different ways it doesn't seem to even matter what kind of a mood I'm in I'll drop everything and listen to it the lyrics the percussion his voice and Peter's voice chilling a beautiful haunting melody, time seems to be altered it's so so delicate I can't explain it it's like I'm lifted into another dimension
Ответить❤️I believe in Angels ❤️Sunshine
ОтветитьWe should be grateful for all members of The Band.
ОтветитьHaunting, touching, beautiful, a highly precious music gem. Rip, you will be missed so so much
ОтветитьI didn't know he past away in the summer until today,,,,
Ответитьa farewell to robertson's band-mate richard manuel. gorgeous.
ОтветитьSome people knock Robbie because of simliaries of So being released first and a year later out comes Robbie's album ... The video is the giveaway if Peter didn['t believe in Robbie he wouldn't have appeared in the videos or sing back up or even possible worse things like plagiarism ... If it was someone else and all that happened then Peter would of seen immediately as a copy for the sake of copying ...
ОтветитьRobbie used to shop the store I managed in the mid 90's to early 2000 on Melrose Avenue. Such a presence and memorable human. ❤
Ответить"ONe day we will meet again" Time doesn't stand still. I hope Robbie and Richard are having lots of laughter about all their adventures together. While I am still here I want to go visit Richard Manuel's grave site in Stratford. Also John Till's gravesite that is in the same grave yard to pay my respects. He played with Ronnie Hawkins as well ..then went on to play with the Full Tilt Boogie Band and Janis JOplin on her last album. "Are you out there? Can you hear me? Can you lay a flower in the snow? I will visit this winter and see if there is a flower in the snow. Thank you gentleman for all the glorious music!!!!!
ОтветитьRIP Beautiful man Robbie 🙏✨💯👍💯✨💯❤️💋

ОтветитьRIP Robbie. I was 17 back in 87 and my dad died of cancer . I had so many questions about his death and when I heard this song it brought me peace . I think I played it a hundred times that year . Your albums were brilliant Robbie - Rest in peace .

ОтветитьManu Katche was meant for this song.
Ответитьok, fateci pagare un po di miseri soldi, ma sta pubblicità offende soprattutto la buona melodia, che per gli stracci musicali potrebbe andare ben e
ОтветитьArt survives mere death.
ОтветитьRobbies music is soundtrack to falling in love with my husband. What a magical blessing. Each time we listen to his music we are taken back to such intense depths of love and wonder. Thank you Robbie. We love you
ОтветитьAs a Canadian Robbie was something special. His sensibility never left his music. The heart and love of his music was to me, educational. I came to this piece way back when it came out because it was essentially Peter Gabriels band and I have been a life long follower of PG. What I found though was not just great music from Robbie but the very first message to me, that as a Canadian, made me begin to question our long standing horrible treatment of Indiginous Canadians. His third album Music for the Native American was an emotional eye opener for me and for many others I think.
Perhaps it is a bold thing to say, but for me personally, a European, Robbie Robertson was the beginning of understanding what reconciliation really means. You just have to truly listen
RIP brother. This song spoke volumes to me throughout the entirety of my life and it’s one of the first I can actually remember hearing. This whole album has forever been a favorite of mine. Broken arrow lives rent free in my mind until the day I get to meet you on the other side. Later in life I discovered you were a part of so much more music I had already come to love. You are one of the most inspiring musicians in my life and a big reason of why I began to love music in the first place. I’m sad to lose another person I looked up to, but I’m grateful for the impact you left on me.
ОтветитьAnother of the great ones leaves us.
ОтветитьThanks for all the music!
ОтветитьI'm so sorry. Your spirit is now free and that I have to try and be happy for but going to miss your presence here on land. Rest in peace Dear One.❤️💔
ОтветитьYep
ОтветитьA magnificent man and artist. We are blessed to have shared this time with him. Thank you💖🙏
ОтветитьRIP...❤️
ОтветитьRobbie you were right -- it's not just written in the sand. Bless you brother.
ОтветитьThis whole album is just fantastic!
I implore you all to sit down in front of a decent music system, open a bottle of beverage of choice, and just enjoy...
RIP, Robbie... You gave me incredible moments... Thank you!
I'll miss him and his gifts. 😢
ОтветитьOne for Robbie respect lives on
ОтветитьRIP Robbie, thank you for sharing your story.
ОтветитьWhen this song was used in the film Powwow Highway with Gary Farmer (Philbert) at the summit of Bear Butte I felt the sacred nature of life’s mysteries. Gary Farmer is related to Robbie Robertson. Aho mitakuye oyasin. Thank you Red Boy / Robbie Robertson for all you did. You’re on the other side now, flying with eagles.
ОтветитьRIP Wolf Spirit
ОтветитьThanks again Rob...
