AFK Steel Path with 0 Forma! | How to Build Octavia Prime 2024 Warframe Solo Guide

I love being super late and super early at the same time in warframe😂. I have 0 hatred mods or radar but I have everything in the other 2 builds

One of the main reasons for packing a ton of notes into your mandachord songs isnt to get 'more damage faster' but rather to increase the frequency and liklihood by which youre able to trigger the various buffs that come with performing certain actions in time with the mandachord song, such as shooting or bullet jumping or crouching on beat.

Here's a little suggestion that might increase the range and possibly damage from the mallet

For the people who are trying to get rank 5 in new loka, buy Partitioned Mallet (Create an additional Mallet with 20% reduced range) so you can have more possible space to damage enemy's outside the first mallet's range.

But what mod in the build should i switch to Partitioned Mallet?
Any possible mod in the build that you dont have, better being a mod that doesnt change the gameplay much.

Can pillage be replaced with terrify for the last build? (I don’t have regular hildryn to subsume)

What would be a good mandacor build for sp survival?

Octavia can afk with 0 forma and only 1 mod equipped. Heck she can afk with no mods at all xd

I can't lie this just ain't my playstyle. Cool video and Octavia Prime is a very cool warframe, but being that passive just isn't what I want out of Warframe.

love Octavia builds and as someone who played her for well some time... i can say i didnt knew she don't need to spam music on mallets witch allows my to only use 4 and let the enemys attack it to stack more damage and i i like mostly moding for Duration and using grimoire for the +60% Duration Ninjase build looks decent so i whould recommend using it to switched some stuff for more duration but for the most part i whould say great builds and nice video now i know to not stun them forever with spam so thay can hit the mallet.

Considering how absolutely dumpster I am with my Octavia, this is a glorious video and very appreciated. I've made a handful of great little tunes for the Mandachord, it'll be nice to hear them mid-mission and not just on my ship at random, lol.

It's always nice seeing builds on different warframes even if i don't end up using them right away.

I came back in December because of cross save. I hadn't played since mid 2019 since my ps4 broke and I didn't want to start over on pc. I've been doing a lot of catch up since kuva liches hadn't even come put last time I played. I've seen a lot of video make steel path look easy but non of them helped. I guess in other other videos their warframes had archon shards and I don't own a single one since the missions to get them were too tough for me and I haven't ranked up enough in Kahl's garrison to buy one. This is the first video that actually helped me with steel path.

I replaced resonator with banshee's silence ability. Works well to disable eximus.

I don’t think amp actually increases mallet damage despite it saying it in the ability description, I’ve tested this and it doesn’t actually double the damage (atleast I think)

as an octavia main as she is my first prime frame, this is where ur wrong, so u see resonator + mallet will enable enemies to react and hit the mallet faster and thus having a absolute crowd control and wherever the resonator go enemy will just follow, yes this seem bad in practical but many people forgot about the augment called [Conductor] this is an exceptionally useful augment and as it implies u can just command the resonator to move around or away from u so u dont get hit and die instantly, while it is so useful cuz u can move ur resonator around and nuking different groups of enemies while standing in one spot. So resonator + mallet is one of the strongest combos in game and pair it with her 4th then ur damage increases and range too make it even more effective. It is like a hypnotizing ball of death. It is cuz with resonator with mallet, enemies will not stray from shooting it and will keep shooting it without stop and suddenly shoot at u, with resonator enemies stays "hypnotized" and therefore wont suddenly stop and shoot u instead cuz with only mallet and no resonator, this will sometimes happen and cause u to die instantly.

newbies or people dont understand octavia complete will tend to forget about resonator and move on, while veterans or octavia mains will say ur wrong and it is the best crowd control ability in game, thats why its so hard to put helminth abilities on her cuz her kit is too perfect for anything to replace them, her whole kit lets her become invincible and full on destruction

so here is a tip, ALWAYS PUT MALLET FIRST then only put resonator, but from the combo i saw in the video, its not that its not strong, just that those 2 did not "combine" well so ur mallet is useless assuming u put resonator first then only mallet, but if u put mallet first then resonator this will not happen ( this is something i discover myself when on my road to become octavia main so i know whats wrong as soon as i saw what is happening here )

primed animal instinct will also work well in place of Enemy Radar if you have it, allowing you to use a different aura mod. I believe it also gives +30 enemy radar, or at least close

I have not played with Octavia at all, but the idea of jamming your percussion section full of notes has some merit. In some edge cases, 1 100% damage note per measure can overkill enemies, resulting in less time efficiency. With the rapid notes, your mallet will be done killing as soon as the enemy is dead, rather than getting an enemy to 10% hp and needing to wait another full measure to finish the enemy off.

I made octavia my most optimised frame a while back so i can do other stuff while playing this game. 374% duration while allowing you to have 240% strength to full strip with one cast of tharros strike makes this game too easy. Hardest part about playing my build is not forgetting im still in the game

I also love that you pointed out how Resonator just makes Mallet worse; I absolutely hate anti-synergy in kits, but whenever I bring it up, people get mad at me ^^“

I love the suggestion of pillage over Resonator, though I would recommend a bit more strength that the build you showed. i might be wrong, but it didnt look like it quite reaches full strip in two casts? either way, removing armor is soo necessary for her, because Mallet deals Blast damage of all things.

Here‘s some small additions and corrections:

-the damage of mallet doesnt completely benefit from duration; the damage dimishes over time. the wiki has no information on the rate of damage decay, but afaik it all the stored damage should be gone by the time all 4 mandacord sections are played.

-the damage of mallet isnt actually doubled by Amp. the ability states that, but it doesnt currently work xP

-Mallet has an augment that allows you to spawn 2 of them, to better lock down tiles; though that also spreads out the damage.

-its beneficial to have only one beat per second on mallet, because it limits how much the ability staggers enemies, thus allowing them to shoot the mallet more

-Metronome actually also has an armor buff. nobody ever mentions that, not evek NovaUmbra. cant fault anyone, its pointless due to invisibility…
