16-year-old Doug was very, very excited to make this video.

Still to this day my dream car. An absolutely miny low mile 04. Even past my teenage years. I'm in love with this vehicle.

I bought a lightly used 04' STI in 2005 when I was in my mid twenties. That car was sooo fun! 2 speeding tickets and one crash in 10 months. It was worth it!

IDK but I love the hawkeye fascia. A lot more aggressive while being the return of winning WRC days of the STi. The blob is a close second, but I hate the bug eye.

i think the features are much better in older cars, with real knobs an stuff, the only real thing might be car play/easy bluetooth connect and a back up camera just to make it easier to see when to stop backing up. I dont think that anybody is for real when they say they want one of those huge smart screens that just makes it impossible to change climate, volume or even heated seats cuz its all hidden in the interface of the smart screen

The first one I ever saw was at a Subaru meet in NJ. The owner backed it in next to my sleepy Legacy. It still had the paper registration on the windshield. When he offered me the keys, I couldn't say no.

WHY do companies like Subaru REFUSE to build a car that they know would be popular? A basic performance sedan. Stop loading up cars with 'stuff' few people want.

When I think of a WRX STI…it’s THIS version that I think of. Boxy, muscular, and looks the part. Also, you can actually see out of the windows! Look how small modern car windows are compared to back then

Rest up, I’ve watched this everyday when I was obsessed with ball… but here I am much older and this still hits so deep, this message still makes sense for the circumstances I’m in.
