In this economic state we should be realistic, rents are not increasing well enough to cash flow positive. If you bought in the right location, street, etc. A hold strategy (buy to let) means wait a few more seasons (the downs) for the market to turn in your favour (only if you bought in the right area, street). Subletting the property will yield more returns, apply whatever exit strategy you had in place.
