ОтветитьJUST L❤VE.
I just have to write this. I was born looking pretty much like a white girl..that's what I thought growing up in-between Germany, I mean it's middle Europe and back in the 80's, there were not too many kids "of color" so to say in my class. When I was about nine years old, I started to realize that I somehow looked different. Though I got those light eyes that change color in different lights or change color depending on my moods..I stood in front of the mirror wondering what I am. My hair is not straight, it's not really curly, it's just frizzy and every single hair has a different structure. From kinky to slight wavy. It is superficial talking about that but I tried to straighten my hair to make it look shiny like the girls on TV. Damn. I bleached it. Like 10 times in a row. It didn't break. When I was a baby, I had no hair at all and now it's so thick I don't know how to comb it...all of the changes and not knowingly if I'm black or white or whatever, it really confused me as a teenager. I withdrew from everything. I even had to quit school because I didn't wanna go outside anymore. Yep. We all have our issues.❤
This song is still jamming in 2023. I love the meaning. I have embraced my natural hair.
ОтветитьI will listen to this song on repeat. Its soo catchy and touching.

ОтветитьOh man India is so inspiring. I remember hearing her song "video" when i was a teen, she planted a seed of pride in me. Thank you for your great music ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьThank you very much! ❤ Your song touched my soul! 🌹
I had breast cancer in 2015, after having an emotional hard time in my life.
But now I'm fine and thankful 🙏 and celebrating (nearly 😉) every day in my life! ❤
Even the hard ones, because it's wonderful to be alive!🎉
Before I got cancer, I had times, I didn't want to live any longer (because I was often very ill, it was so exhausting...)
But when the cancer told me, he wanted to take my life, I discovered my love for being alive ❤, and now I'm happy to be still here!
Best wishes to all of you, guys! ❤❤❤
