I can't believe that they did a Hogwart's Reunion without John Williams I mean yeah the castings were great, sets and locations were phenominal but I think without Johnny's magic that would have been like body without the souls, Mr Speilberg truly said Music is the magic dust for every great movie and Johnny's score gives kind of heavenly and magical experience to the audience.

I purchased the dvd of the first HP movie for my children. Upon watching it with them I instantly became a Harry Potter fan…and followed the entire series to the end. I can only imagine what it must have been like for all the characters to have literally grown up together. I don’t think there will ever be another silver screen series like this one that will bring so much cinematic pleasure to so many viewers all across this entire planet.
RIP to all those that were part of HP that have passed on.

I remember watching all these theaters. I loved watching the Anniversary I loved it a ton.
When I watched the first one I was 9 the second I was 10 the third one I was 12, The fourth one I was 13, The fifth I wat 15, the sixth one I was supposed to be 16, but they delayed that movie until I was 17, Then Part 1 Of Deathly Hallows I was 18 then Part 2 I was 19. That 10 years of these amazing movies.

As a young screenwriter who's weirded out a bit by the idea of watching a new cast in the upcoming series, what about we put this pitch out there:

The series is one giant flashback. Harry, Ron and Hermione, and other characters - all played by their older original actors - share their experiences with the next generation, and fill in the gaps that the films left in the story of the books. Alterations can even be addressed;
Hermione: 'No no, Death Eaters didn't burn down The Burrow in our sixth year. Stop telling nonsense Ron, you're scaring the little one.'

I would love to show my kids the films I grew up on and love but then at the same time getting to enjoy the new series with them without it feeling like a full-blown retcon of the cinematic adaptation.
