ОтветитьThat was fantastic!
ОтветитьRedefining style loved it
ОтветитьSelf-expression is so important. We need to look, talk and act according to our true nature. So sad how many parents try to destroy exactly that in their own kids.

Ответить❤😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
ОтветитьBeautiful ❤
ОтветитьGreat talk. Id be remissed not to point out the double standard in clothing with men and women. Woman going into mens section much more acceptible than a man in the womens section. I wish we would just stop policing these strict gender boxes

ОтветитьI love your daughter and you!!! It’s so inspiring. I m lucky for watching your talk when my son is still young. We should find our own box!!!
ОтветитьRewatching after about 3 years, I was trying to figure myself out then and knew my appearance is important part of it. I have gone through lot of major changes in life in this period and I remember now what powerful message this woman has for us:)

ОтветитьHer Motherhood ❤️❤
ОтветитьLoveeee
ОтветитьHe has a great mama
ОтветитьIt’s really sad that that mom thinks she understands her kid. She doesn’t really. She wants her kid to go onto the little social box that she wanted herself so desperately to fit in, and by doing so her son now feels out of place. It’s true I’ve seen time and time again that one parents failed to notice signs of their kids being queer, be it trans, non-binary, gender-fluid, or just or some other it’s because they don’t want to see those differences. His mother doesn’t want to see her child’s physical differences either those their disabilities and their emotional differences. We as people all work differently and it’s important to except those differences. Next time you see someone different than you instead of wondering why they’re different or why they aren’t fitting in figure out why you need them to fit in and change your thought process. People don’t need to change for you and you don’t need to change for people. Please except everyone the way they are even if they don’t know what they are themselves let them find out and encourage them to grow as people. Clothing is another way to do this. His mother is bringing people expression, see their style and sense of clothing even though she forced her child to be so confined into these tiny little boxes that did not fit them. It’s really interesting to see how parenting goes full circle in the end, but we have potential to fix that and we have potential to change ourselves, and raise children better than we were raised. Never give up, always be open, and support your children through their differences.
ОтветитьAmazing! So happy I stumbled onto this!
ОтветитьThank you ❤
ОтветитьWhat a fantastic parent she is.
ОтветитьLove love this❤
ОтветитьI am crying
ОтветитьI LOVE IT!
ОтветитьWow, no wonder I was questioning 'who am I' ... hmm, the inner and outer congruence. Owning 'my' style ... I am not the person I was 5, 10, or even a year ago ... no wonder nothing in my closet feels right to me.
This is so interesting, well timed!!
So AMAZING and inspiring Stasia!! Tears of joy running down my cheeks!! :)
ОтветитьI loved this so much!
ОтветитьThank you for this video. ❤
ОтветитьI love this speech so much! Thank you! I love to deer antlers and tails to express who I am on the inside ! I get made fun of a lot so I quit wearing my ears/ tails. It hurt being made fun of all the time nad I just wanted to be myself. My mom was also very mean to me about this and called me a freak all the time. My grandparents said they didn't want to be seen with me in public because of my ears/ tails. I was told I was embarrassing to be with in public, and that I couldn't go anywhere with them until I took them off.
Well... I didn't take them off and made my stand. I didn't let their bribes take away my self expression! This video reminded me of the courage I used to have when I was little to defy what other people wanted me to be. This video was a good reminder for me to be myself <3 I have my ears and tails in a box in the closet. I'm inspired to wear my animal gear again in public <3 Thank you for this <3
