I bought the falkens for my 2010 Ford ranger fx4. I live in Ontario and they were cheaper than the Goodyear equivalent which were no longer being made. They grip the road way better! And look way more badass than the Goodyear evuiv’s. I work snow removal and some nights getting to my job site I’m driving steep winding roads with even more steep bridges. I already like how they drive and I know in those crazy snow storms nothing is going to stop me.

Why does this video sound biased still? It’s like people are scared to say good things about the Falken line wholeheartedly.

K02's for more off road and gravel road use, Wildpeaks for more snow use on road. I need a tire that will handle tens of thousands of miles rocky gravel and rock roads in the PNW without getting a flat and the K02s do just that. I got 50k from my last pair on a truck that was primarily use for drivint such conditions.

I sell tires for a living, the Falken Wildpeak AT3/W are a winner. Quiet, great traction all around and a formidable tire in the snow.

I have had KO's and KO2's and like them both. The KOs came on a 1991 Jeep Wrangler my wife bought for me back in 2014, only drive it around 3k a year. KO's are holding up great taken them to Pismo beach CA and Borrego Springs CA. Never driven KO's in snow or rain, they do great in sand and rock. My wife drives a 2015 4Runner been throught 2 sets of KO2's had two flats one nail and one railroad spike. I drive a 2017 Sequoia and put KO2's on it, love the look of the KO2's all sets have lasted over 50k. The only real off roading I do is fire roads and dirt. May have to give the Wildpeaks a try, thanks guys!!!

Had both on my tundra. Each have there benefits ko2 did a lot of hydro plaining in water and slush but preformed well on paved roads Hard pack snow and mud and preformed bad on ice. Falcons preformed way better on water and slush ok on hard pack snow and ok in mud worse on pavement. Ko2 lasted longer with regular rotations like every time oil change then rotate tires. And less road noise. Falcons way better on ice. And did not hydro plain as bad as ko2 Bottom line depends on your location and weather remember ko2 are a cupping tire they only release mud water and snow through rotation out back falcons have grooves that alow for better release of water ,slush. Cupping tires hydro plain but are better in mud and snow for that reason. I liked both and depends on my needs

I went with the KO2 because they look awesome in white-letter. Any halfway-competent A/T will do what I need it to offroad on my 2WD Dakota. It's literally coming from a high-performance summer sport tire. The guy installing the tires asked if I wanted to hide the white letters on the inside. Told him if he did that, I'd find where he lives and shit in his driveway.

I had falken tires installed by accident due to an incorrect order, and I had to run them for some time.

Not kidding, a few weeks later it was raining bad and a deer jumped on the road, I swerved a bit to not hit it, and my tires held their grip better than I could have thought.

I read the difference between the tires and decided to keep the falken tires. I'll admit I'm kinda biased but I still feel that if I had the tires that I wanted I would've been sliding unnecessarily.

I’ve been using KO2s for the last 6-7 years on all our off roaders but today I ordered wild peaks as I feel like as of very recent in the last 1 year they are not the same as they used to be, something has changed in our KO2s we get here in Australia, balance issues and noise issues. Same car model we have 3 of them on our channel and a new set on 2 of my cars have just got these strange issues. I’ve never had the wet traction issues everyone says KO2s have so no idea there (permanent 4wd) so maybe those part time 4wds notice it more in the wet. Still keen to see how the wildpeaks preform.

Liked the video & all the information, purchased the Falken wild peaks for my 2018 4×4 2500 170"mercedes sprinter van & love them, was surprised on how well they worked on the street (265/75r16)slight sidewall roll going thru turns at 80mph, no hydroplaneing at same speed in heavy downpour & stopped amazingly well on dry pavement in an emergency at highway speed no slip, no chatter

Never had anything but great luck with the KO2s. Ride great, low noise, handle great and most of all, wear great. Not uncommon to get 60k miles out of set with proper rotation.

Had an 05 ram 3500 Cummins for over 15 years. I had ko2 which slipped and sucked and short mileage. I had Michelin from factory and they slipped and sucked with short tread life in them. I ran hankook dynapro and they didn’t slip but had poor tread life. Finally ran Dynapros for 2 sets and they were awesome. My father runs them on his 1500 but they’re a little loud.
I have a sequoia now and the only thing holding me back from buying another set of dynapros is the road noise, although not terrible I want less, which is why I’m looking hard at the at3 now. I want similar on road handling in all conditions to the duratrac but less road noise. Occasional muddy trail or front yard.

At the coal mine we only have wildpeaks on the pickup trucks. They are monsters in snow and mud. The trucks need to be able to pull heavy cable for the shovels, no matter what conditions we're in.

Just priced them both out. And wow. I live in Ontario Canada. And the bf Goodrich are way more expensive than the at3w. The bfg’s are $1796 tax in all the balancing. The at3w was $1349 tax in and balancing. And all the reviews on them are as good or better than the bfg’s. So I am going to go with the at3w for sure.

I found that the Ko2’s are too heavy for weaker transmissions. If you have a crossover/suv like a Cherokee I’d get the wildpeaks. Wish Ko2’s were a bit lighter in weight

Im running Wildpeak AT3W on outback Wilderness and it is quieter than the BFGoodrich KO2 on my buddies Wilderness. No significant performance difference in the 245-65-17 that we are running. I like the looks of his BFGs more in my opinion but wouldn't trade off for the extra noise on the long drives home. We get stuck in the same spots .

The Falken Wildpeaks in C load rating are 63 lbs. that’s 12 lbs heavier than the BFG AT load rating C. That’s for the 285/70/17. Any info on why the 6 ply is heavier than the E ply on the Falken? I want the Falken and am considering going with the Standard load 4 ply for my Jeep wrangler.
