I think the Zoom sounds more natural with all the microphones but I think I like the build of the Rode better.
ОтветитьI have Rodecaster Pro for streaming radio. I need your honest opinion, which one is better from both for streaming radio application?
ОтветитьAny chance of you gibing away one of the two devices, please I can't afford one myself as a Podcaster and radio Presenter
Ответитьzoom
ОтветитьI quite like the rode but the zoom was not available at the time, I feel I would probably still go with rode. The only issue I have personally is on windows with the driver. In multitrack recordings using say Radiodj to usb channel and Audition, when I want to hear back a section I have to change from asio to mme in audio hardware setting then back again to carry on. It maybe that usb I believe is only 2 way so is tied up or just not how it was designed. I think mac os not an issue. In real use not a deal breaker as u would normally record show then edit rather than stop start swapping back and forth I guess.
ОтветитьNeither - external power supplies are plain and simly a no/no.
ОтветитьThanks James! We went with Zoom and love it! I liked being able to edit content while recording directly on the device. I
like that each track is recorded and can be edited in post production. I like the size and battery function. It’s easy to transport, and it really does sound great.
Please do a “going live” instruction video with the Zoom when time permits. 💜
Simone
The rodecaster gives you a fuller voice.
Ответитьcompare with tascam mixcast 4
ОтветитьGood information!
ОтветитьClient asking for a cheaper alternative, what is your recommendation?
ОтветитьThank you very much for this video. You may have said it in the video, but my English is not good enough. That's why I wanted to ask in writing. I live stream on Twitch. I don't know if I should buy the Behringer Flow 8. What I'm wondering is this. When I use all these effects and digital audio enhancements, will I experience a latency when monitoring the audio? Latency in hearing myself prevents me from speaking fluently. Is it a suitable device for radio broadcasts on Twitch? I use Behringer x1222 analog mixer in my live broadcasts. You know, when I speak, I turn down the volume of the music with a fader. When I'm done speaking, I turn the music back up. Spotify music sound from my computer and my voice from my microphone go to the broadcast as a single stereo mix. In other words, when I add any digital effects to my microphone, my music sound is affected because they all go on the air as a mix. Whereas, I want to make sound improvements to my microphone input and music input separately. Do you think it would be a significant upgrade? Will this solve my problem? For this kind of solution, I normally have to use an expensive and large digital mixer like the Presonus StudioLive 16. And I'm looking for a more compact and cheaper solution. You can also suggest a different mixer. Thank you so much.
