Could they make mist or fog turn to “stone” in an enemies lungs if surrounded by it? Seems like a really op ability if it works.
ОтветитьY’know, I’ve always wanted to make a character/Npc who was a 20th level wizard/artificer who is basically married to a dragon and they just work together to further their understanding of magic to make machines that could help people, Like an obelisk that absorbs natural mana and weaves it to constantly cast plant growth for farming villages that live in less crop friendly lands. Now that I’ve seen this video I think it might be possible.
ОтветитьIf blue dragon is the narcissist, red dragon is the sociopath/psychopath, the silver dragon is the empath.
ОтветитьCould a Silver dragon mate a Copper dragon??
ОтветитьOne breath, one life
ОтветитьIn one adventure, the PCs had to go to a village in which it was said that orphaned children were sacrificed to a dragon that lived nearby.
Of course, the players moved to there, and after finding the place, they discovered that the "sacrifices" were the adopted children of a female Silver Dragon that cared for the village for centuries, in which the last child offered was found on her arms, while she was nursing the newborn with a bottle containing goat milk.
Even the scene was hilarious because the players came "SHOW THYSELF, EVIL SPAWN!", and this towering creature holding a tiny Human baby swaddled in thick furs on her arms just replied in a very gentle tone: "Shhh... the little one is eating. If you wish to talk, wait until I put him to sleep". Then they just saw her feeding it, burping it, playing with it, changing its diapers, sing a lullaby to it and putting it to sleep, only to then inviting the players for a tea and explaining the entire matter.
And her treasure? The childrens toys, clothes, hair clippings and little finger paintings that they use and make that she keep in a chamber, together with an adult painting of them that she makes when they reach adulthood.
Chromatic dragons exist
Metallic dragons: so you’ve chosen death.
Strong Christopher Walken impression
ОтветитьWith that end, I wonder what Metallic Dragons would do if the encountered a Neutral or even a Good alignt Chromatic Dragon.
ОтветитьIn my campaign two silver dragons were adopted by one of my PCs' long lost grandpa.
One of those dragons grew up to be a soldier in the order of knights that defended the biggest kingdom, where the party, too, enrolled
He was a beloved character and I miss him a lot c':
Silver dragons are so lovable
This was my childhood thank you for the memories
ОтветитьSilver dragons have always been my favorite of all dragons, with that said, I feel you are kinda like the silver dragon of d&d lore, love your videos.
ОтветитьIs it common for silver dragons to have relationships with humans? like lovers and such
ОтветитьThis is so eerie. I have a draconic bloodline sorcerer that has a silver dragon ancestry and I played him exactly like a silver dragon would act without even knowing it. I have like three damaging spells on my spell list and loads of control spells to stop fights, etc. Thanks for a great video series btw. Really helpful.
ОтветитьSilve4 Dragons are my favorite
ОтветитьI've been re-listening to these videos and i swear MrRhexx said the silver dragon would live a whole human lifetime as a human, go and meditate to forget that life, then go live a new human life? Did i zone out during that part this time or am i getting my dragons confused???
ОтветитьI'm noticing a lot of similarities between silver dragon's eating habits and that of my toddler aged nephew.
Now I'm imagining a silver dragon polymorphing into a toddler to 'sample' as much human food as it can when it discovers that adult humans will be charmed if it looks adorable enough.
My favorite dragon by far. If I play dragonborn, they are always silver. Same for sorcerer bloodline
ОтветитьI like silver dragons
ОтветитьSilver dragons are libertarians
Ответитьso good in so many ways
ОтветитьYou are awesome!
ОтветитьSilver Dragons say no step on snek
Ответитьi know that it's a wall of text, but please, read it and tell me what you think in the comments. thank you.
you have known this sweet old couple for decades, you practically see them as a grandfather and grandmother. they live far from the village, in the forest, by a majestic waterfall in a valley surrounded by tall mountain peaks. you have been going to their house since you were a young child that got lost in the woods, but the old couple had found you and let you stay the night before taking you back to the village the next day. one day, your villages gets attacked by a red dragon, youhave lost your entire family, only being spared by the shere luck of gathering firewood in the near forest. you start running deep into the forest, but the sudden sound of you dropping the firewood alerts the red dragon and it gives chace. you run and run, all the while the sound of crashing trees becomes louder and louder as the red dragon comes closer and closer. you trip and fall due to utter exhaustion, as you get back up you notice it, you have ran all the way to the old couple's house. you panic and loathe yourself for putting them in danger, you turn around prepared to run toward the red dragon, but it is too late. it has caught up, however, it's acting weird. it's acting... cautiously? you start loosing continuance as familiar voices tell you "rest child, you are safe now". the voices are familiar, but they sound off, as if the people they belong to have regained their vigor and youth. with the last of your continuance you muster the strenght to peek at the location of the voices. you manage to catch a glimpse of the two figures, the old man and the old lady, changing shape. in their place, two massive dragons, silver at that. you loose continuance. the next morning you wake up dumbfounded and swearing that you had the weirdest dream ever. the old man and old lady call out to you "you are awake sunny? that's good, very good.", the old lady continues "here, have some stew". it smells absolutely delicious. you take a bite, it tastes delicious and it has chunks of meat, delicious tender meat. as you are happily eating away at the stew, something outside the window catches your eye. in your shock, you drop the bowl of stew. you seat there in utter silence, stearing outside the window. for there lies the mangled corpse of the red dragon, it's eyes lifelessly and blankly staring into the sky, it's ruby red blood draining into the soil.
edit: some spelling.
Right now in my main campaign, the party kind of adopted this awkward needy wizard named Osmund. He had amnesia and doesn't remember most of his childhood. One day, an archfey looked at him, giggled and said "Not a single human among you." And they freaked out for multiple sessions trying to figure out what was up, and finally when they faced a chromatic dragon one day, it jogged some of Osmund's memories and he shifted into his drake form and roared for the first time. He still doesn't remember all of who he is, but he knows what he is now.
ОтветитьThey’re Christian orthodox libertarians?
ОтветитьSilver dragons seem like gandalf dragons, love of lesser and simpler races, conversation with friends and reaction instead of proaction
ОтветитьSilver dragons love humans the same way humans love dogs
ОтветитьI have an ancient silver (named Regalforce) as a head of a Paladin order with a strong core in the silver's beliefs. So, the knights are there to go for irredeemably evil beings like fiends and liches - common threats like bandits or raiding warbands are to be offered all the support in getting better (and only after they don't, should they be punished).
One of the famous historical knights (Sir Lot Rando - after a Czech fairytale where Lotrando is an educated bandit's son and generally a good guy) of this order - the Ordo Draconis - actually *was* a former highwayman who contacted the Order to cooperatively attack (and prevent a large ritual with humanoid sacrifices) a bunch of Orcus's cultists and then found that "doing good is better than robbing travellers."
the most human loving after song dragons
ОтветитьYay I’m in this video! I’m Ghostwalker.
ОтветитьSilver Dragons are just real homies
Ответить" I shall not seek out evil, but nor will I tolerate it in my presence."
ОтветитьYou make them sound a lot like the Greyhawk/Steel dragon. I prefer 2e so there is a difference that has sadly been lost, it seems, in 5e.
ОтветитьDoes anybody know which book those underview shots of dragons come from?
ОтветитьSilver dragons should be Neutral Good and black dragons should be neutral evil as these alignments would be a more accurate generalization of their philosophical and ethic outlooks on life.
ОтветитьWtf is chicken pie. Who's out there making chicken pies?
ОтветитьWhy does it sound like they would side with SovCits?
ОтветитьA Silver Dragon probably: "If you see someone stealing groceries, no you didnt."
ОтветитьI mean, calling a dragon vain is truly just human insecurity. I mean, they are superior in every way. It’s like the elves being called vain. They aren’t vain they are just honest. What human wouldn’t want to be a dragon? Or be friends with a dragon? That the silver feel the same, appreciate humans as much as they do is just natural.
ОтветитьSilver Dragons abide by the NAP? They're Libertarians? I knew i liked them best.
ОтветитьFeels bizzarre a silver would go so wild around a chromatic, it going against their defining principles and all. Oh look, a little red dragon who hasn't hurt anyone, and if it has hurt anything, was merely out of simple hunger. Well... despite it having done nothing and being undeserving of punishment, I'm going to just forget I believe that for a moment...
Really makes... yeah, the word persona feel more fitting than personality. Might be one of those moments I'd choose to ignore in portraying them on the basis of, needless contradiction that tarnishes or spoils an otherwise nuanced dragon. It fits other metallics, the cold, I'm right, you're wrong, you're bad I'm good duality of their rigid mindset, but silvers? Wouldn't it be more interesting if they also broke the mould by favouring attempted rehabilitation, even if it didn't work out and they ended up ending their proteges in near every case.
Why the Silver dragon's beak reminds me of Boga from star wars Revenge of the Sith.
ОтветитьA Silver dragon should be the new mascot for the Libertarians.
I love that the porcupine is the current mascot, but only on a surface level.
Plus I think a silver dragon looks way more bad-ass Than a porcupine.
Their view on society and life fits perfectly with the libertarian beliefs on how to live.
Some one has to help me get it changed.
We get it, shiny dragons are prayer crushers. Flying paladins ruin all the fun....
ОтветитьSilver tarnishes. As they age, their personality should get darker and dirtier, but at their core they are silver, honerable and good.
ОтветитьRadiate is pronounced "Ray-dee-ate". You pronounced it as "Radd-ee-ate".
Ответитьi love silver dragons
