My Uncle plays drums on this track ❤
ОтветитьI found it!❤
ОтветитьTook my forever to find this song. Thought I was dreaming it.
ОтветитьThis was one of those songs I had to put a blank cassette in the tape player, and hot record and play at the same time because they played it on the radio. 🤣🤣 I haven’t thought about this song in years, and I can’t believe I found it! Wow. I’m OLD.
ОтветитьThe actress who play his secretary looks an awful lot like the actress from A-Ha's 'Take On Me'. Roughly the same time frame given both releases. Any ideas or input? :)
ОтветитьI want cd
ОтветитьRIP
Ответитьmy old favourite
ОтветитьIn the end finally he found another girl 🤭
ОтветитьDon’t bet on blondes 👱♀️
ОтветитьWasn't this bigger in Britain than in the US?
ОтветитьThat actor at the end, is that Bruce Jenner?
ОтветитьI saw him open for Tommy Shaw 36 years ago tonight at Harper college.
ОтветитьWOW. I was going through some old cassettes of mine, and this was on there. What a great song. Totally forgot about it. How does a guy write a great song like this and just vanish. If anyone has control over this, please release it to Spotify.
ОтветитьI heard this song on the radio only once or twice in the latter half of 1984, when I was in 8th grade. I always remembered the piano chords and the line “every day is just another page in this tragedy,” something I’ve found myself saying as an adult during harder times. I don’t know WHY I didn’t try entering that line before!
Ответитьsong blows
ОтветитьIs the album available on CD?
ОтветитьWho else is listening to this in 2020?!
ОтветитьI found his 2nd LP 1986's More Than Meets The Eye in a used Record Store - Record Heaven in San Diego for 7 cents March 3rd 1995 - Love it to death! Have yet to here his 1st LP this song is on!.
ОтветитьThis song is one of the greatest songs that was released in the 80's its beautiful I dont know why it never became more a classic people just dont got good ears for beautiful music when that piano comes in my gosh ,,,just amazing song loved it when I first heard it still love it .

ОтветитьI love a happy ending.
ОтветитьI was looking thru Billboard's Archive of 1984 songs on the charts for DEC 22 and saw this at number 72 and I didn't quite remember it from 9th grade. Well here I am and wow! I remember now and I haven't heard this gem I bet since December 1984. What a great lil' tune. Just makes me miss the 80s even more than I already do. Remember how awesome life was and America was in the 80s?!

Ответитьi love this song.i had 25 yrs of drama from people.but it is finally over.
ОтветитьA great song and video done with humor and talent. John Hunter, to me, has one of the more lighthearted videos to come out of the MTV age and should be proud of his creative contributions.
Ответитьit's weird hearing this...John Hunter was a friend of my mom's friend. I was 13? when this came out. I still dig the tune!
