Trail Blazers trading back is an interesting proposition but I'm not sure there's a clear enough divide between tiers of prospect after the first 7ish guys where another team would be willing to offload a second first to move up and get a guy. Ideally I'd like the Blazers to draft one of Bryant, Essengue, or Fleming, but I can also see them picking Jase or Fears if they get a deal done with the Magic for Anfernee

Why has Yaxel been dropping so much lately? Is it purely due to the intel about him going back to college?

Because to me it feels like his game translates really well to being a 3-and-D type player in the NBA. Feel like some of these playoff teams at the end of the first round would be enticed by someone like him that can contribute early on.

His passing game will increase and be a lot better because you have a lot of better players in the NBA than he had in college. One thing I did not hear any bad things about Cooper flag as if his game is without fault as if his game is 100% on top no flaws he is excellent and everything that he does. It makes me think this guy perfect if that be the case I am running as far as I can from here and anybody else thinks highly of his game that’s a scary thought

You all really think the Hawks trade is good value? Seems steep to go up a few picks. Sounds like you have intel that the Hawks love that center. Really concerning that you all are concerned about his hands, don’t know what Trae can do with him if he can’t really trust his catching.

Kon K. seems like a rich man's Corey Kispert-- he seems to have more length (and thus better D) than Kispert.

I heard one person say Bailey (like Harper) was hurt by the Rutgers lack of spacing and talent.

I think if Malauch is there or perhaps Queen, Portland is not going to be opposed to taking either one even though, they took Clingan last year. Ayton's future is uncertain and it's very possible that he gets traded this off-season or before the next trade deadline. So, I wouldn't assume that Portland is already set at center. Williams can't stay healthy and will likely be traded. Reath may not last long as a third-stringer, etc.

I am completely out of VJ Edgecombe. However, i do like the Carter Bryant pick a lot.

As a Spurs fan, I enjoyed the Carter Bryant pick, but not the Thomas Sorber one. Not with Wolf and Newell on the board. Newell is the more natural backup to Wemby with his skillset, and Wolf with Wemby is too fun to pass up for a big man with a foot injury.

You all have to stop sending Maluach to ATL. Every other mock on the planet has him going top 7. It's getting my hopes up which is dangerous business in ATL. He would be perfect in a platoon with OO.

I like the idea of VJ Edgecombe and the fact that the Washington Wizards are a fast paced team. VJ can perform really well on a fast paced team. Noa Essengue, at pick #18, is intriguing. Or, instead of Essengue, maybe center Joan Beringer or forward Noah Penda.

Blazers need to take BPA, they have all positions set in similiar way. I would do Queen, Malauch or Fears for #10 with them.

Please do not do trades in your mock, it ruins all the fun of hearing your thougths about draft fit for particular team and it is very unlikely that will actually happen.

Mentioning Jase’s reliance on his left hand makes sense because he’s 6’2” and not a great handler, that’s a great point, but he’s also an awesome touch guy. Outside of 3pa/100, Harper has questionable touch and is also super reliant on his left hand, feels like you need to ding both if you wanna stay consistent. Great video, appreciate the intel.

Feel like Derik Queen is the perfect fit for Washington. Has a rim protector beside him, and his guards are scorers more so than playmakers. They could run a lot through Queen and insulate his weaknesses

14th for the Spurs is going to be tricky. The Spurs are looking to compete next year and when they are in compete mode, they don't like to pay rookies that are more expensive than backups who they cant immediately out play (think draft and stash days). Center will likely be their target but if they dont think he can crack the rotation they will look to trade the pick, but likely for draft capital way later (similar to Rob Dillingham)

The Blazers won't go for that trade. They draft Queen if he's there at 10. Maybe Maluach or Fears. Trade Ayton, Grant and/or Simons. Opinions might change after combine and workouts. C'mon guys!

Really enjoyed this; Bryce in particular was great with some of the nits. If Ace Bailey goes No. 3 in the NBA draft I will be the most surprised I have ever been. Lastly, Maluach looks like a monster at the next level so surprised you guys were so low on him.
