Wow! Amazing progress on SMTB! I was so excited to see a video from you! Long time no see. I love seeing Arthur too. Love seeing all your new starts!!! Have you thought of getting a cone of black DMC. They have them on Amazon for a little under $20 when I did the math it was way cheaper that way! And one always needs 310🤣🤣

Hey Shaun! You have some great new starts. I like the Stolen Harvest piece. And Arthur is looking great! Thanks for the shout out for BRS....with your color deficiencies, I don't blame you for not remembering the color I'm using, especially since it looks different depending on my light! It's 3808 which is a teal...so more greenish but can look blue on camera. I second the suggestion to get a cone of 310! The only dye lot issues I've had were when I used up old floss from my mom & the 94 yr old woman's stash vs current day DMC. Hope you beat that cough soon!

I can’t get over all the wonderful patterns. When I stitched back in the 1980’s there wasn’t much choice. I love all the ones you are working on. It will be great to see how they come out.

I use a seam ripper, tweezers, and a snag nab-it, good day light lighting. You see the green on the 14 ct.fabric, I think that might be thread coverage, you may want to try 3 strands.

Each skein has the dye lot number on it. When I shop, I pull matching dye lots. If there's not enough, I usually try to get two different lots that look the same. I never used to think about it until I ended up with a line in a project of mine. That said, I'm not as picky for things that are confetti as I am for a solid block.

Hi, good to see you here again. You have some good progress on your WIPs, good to see.

I prefer bi-weekly updates, but it depends on you. You need to feel good about when you show how much progress. If you have lots of stuff to show us every week, good... but if you feel you have more to say and show after a month, then do that.
Dye lot issues with DMC are rare and mostly due to old age and sunlight exposure. But if you use a lot of 310, get a cone, it is a lot cheaper and easier in the long run.

I'd vote for monthly update 😄 I'm so sorry to hear about your cat, hugs to you & your family..For the black DMC, if you need so much 310, why don't you just buy the cone seeing you stitch so many full coverage BAPs. How many WIP do you have? And how many HAEDs are you working now? It seems soooo many HAEDs you're working on at once 😆 I don't like counting stitches too, but what I do like is that magical stitches does make me work on various projects so that I'll have more WIPs to show rather than just one or two 😁

It’s been awhile! Welcome back! I’m in the same boat as you, had a few month brake from flosstube... life sometimes gets in the way.

Hey, Shaun! My apologies for being so late in catching up on your videos...but, here I am, better late than never. 🌝 I am sorry for the loss of y’all’s kitty. Our kitties and pups really are such an integral part of our families, aren’t they? Your projects are all so interesting and complex, but when you showed the picture of Stolen Harvest, I literally gasped! It’s so beautiful and unique! And it did immediately put me in mind of Michelle’s piece! I can’t wait to see more progress on that. I’m only halfway through viewing your video, so more comments may follow! ☺️
