I'm liking the short stock updates. I also was into the market and did well but consumed a lot of my time..lol. I remember when FB IPO went for 38.00 then fell to like 24.00. I didnt buy l..ughhh so many like that too.

I’m super interested in the day trading stuff, will be watching! So, testing and dosing....from what I’ve seen and read (and I spend probably at least an hour a day just reading about reefing 😳) the number 1 thing to keep track of is alkalinity. I use Balling Light for my dosing system, which includes trace elements but not aminos. It’s 3-part. But I’ve heard (and read 😁) really good things about All for Reef (which is also a Tropic Marin product, like my Balling Light system).

Because it’s based on Alk uptake and balances the rest, if you focus on Alk testing then use the All for Reef for your dosing based on the results, this might be really efficient for your needs and priorities. Baby Beauty isn’t yet heavily stocked so once you get the info about her Alk levels you should be able to attain stability.

Amino dosing at this stage should be minimal (amino overdose isn’t good) so even low levels will help, and if your doser can calibrate accurately to low doses you’ll be able to use what you have.

Bottom line, if I were in this situation: do a big water change, update the Alk reagent for the Red Sea test kit and test, then set up the All for Reef to supply what Baby Beauty needs to get to the target Alk level. Keep testing and adjust as needed. Once this is stable and running the way you want, you could add something like Acropower (Fuel is the other one, but needs refrigeration) at low doses and watch what happens. Timeline to get this sorted should be under a month if you start right away and if you have less time than that before you need to be away, I’d leave out the amino dosing until you’re confident BB is stable.
