Funny the picture you used for my photo was the fish I hooked while on the phone with you!
ОтветитьLooks like a sweet setup!
ОтветитьLooking forward to seeing it on the Kayak.
Being a Kansas guy I would have thought you would have looked closer at Garmin.
Super cool man! Nice!
ОтветитьThat's cool man! I am excited to see how the ice feature works for ya. I am considering getting the ice kit for my hook 7 so that I can let my buddies use it and keep the vexilar all to myself ;-)
ОтветитьMore ned rig equipment, can't argue with that😊
ОтветитьI do not know much about fish finders, but I am very interested in seeing the videos where you learn how to use it and install it on the kayak as well.
ОтветитьI have the lowrance hook 2x for my kayak and the 4x for icefishing. They work great.
ОтветитьGreat choice, I like that one too, it should help you find them but its Michigan will they bite, good luck on your next trip and stay safe on the ice
Ответить-5 degrees ain't nothin' like here! Tomorrow we are supposed to have a wind chill of -60 degrees!!!!!!! Cool fish finder though! lol
Ответитьdo you not watch my videos? Stay away from the Lowrance Hook2 5... shame on you! lmao...
ОтветитьMore ned rig equipment always a good thing
ОтветитьEthan is all grown up now, he has a feesh finder.
ОтветитьI think you did well; not way over the top; but just the features you need. I have a console unit and another on the bow of my boat; the one on the bow is a $100 unit and the one in the console was about $200; but they both do what I need them to do. I too was not going to spend a gazillion dollars on them. I hope this works out well for you! Congrats on the purchase.
Ответитьmy idea I've been thinking about for next season is an electronic combo I'm gonna pair up for a super portable multi-function fish finder, one of those handheld all-in-one units like Deeper or iBobber with a small no contract android phone like the mil-spec/construction-site grade rugged Kyocera Duraforce; the Deeper or iBobber can be used while canoeing or ice-fishing and can even be casted out from a dock or pond bank to survey the bottom and locate the schools, and the phone will be my screen/control-interface, mp3 player, gps unit, fish photo camera, gaming catfish time killer, gaming toilet time killer... you get the idea. plus, they're both really tiny compact and lightweight units, so!
ОтветитьNice buddy! The Navionics mobile app was a great saver for me when my hook4 didn’t deliver on the maps features like I thought it would. It’s a nice remedy if your graph doesn’t have maps feature and it has community edits so it’s constantly being updated.
ОтветитьAwesome buy! I like that it can be used for ice fishing and open water fishing (after adding that transducer). I like the portability of it and the included battery. Curious to see how you set it up on your kayak. I not saying this is the best option but it works for me because I have multiple kayaks, but I use the YakAttack CellBlok.
Ответитьthat customer service experience was a little foreshadowing wasn't it? I've been thinking of one myself for the kayak only-I don't do ice fishing in WV. I'l like to keep it simple, any recommendations?
