I consider Friedkin's Bugs one of the best movies made in recent years. It's certainly a masterpiece nobody has heard of.

Has it got echo's of King of Comedy?

In the beginning he makes it sound like a psychological thriller, but then in the end it's a comedy? I have to see this film. It made me intrigued.

yeah . i instantly thought of that film .

Didn't think about that when I was watching it but in a few ways I suppose it does.
