I have several vokeys in a variety of grinds and bounces. A few modifications on my swing can usually make up for whatever I need. Mostly the part of the season that I'm playing in for bounce and grind choice. I don't know if I'm doing it as the design intended but I can usually make it work. I've also played with TM and Cleveland wedges. I'm not necessarily sure they're that different

ОтветитьIt's really surprising to see guys from MGS tell us how Bryson's methods / new iron tech probably only works for a guy like him, without having actually seen the stuff he says he's going to present to the masses. Also, this business about multiple odd names winning tour events here lately --- i suppose there's no way that's got something to do with LIV, does it? Finally, i'd like to hear your thoughts on how so many guys are breaking 60 nowadays in Tour events. It's happening at an unprecedented rate, almost like how QB's in the NFL rack up incredible stats every time the league makes offensive-friendly rules changes.
ОтветитьI use a T grind most of time. And then M grind I hand ground a little bit more in the wet season. California golf all year round. Sounds like the A+ could be an off the shelf winter wedge for me. Was thinking of getting a low bounce K to play around with before this today.

ОтветитьI must be the only one on the planet that refuses to use a Vokey wedge and I have a bag full of Titleist clubs.
ОтветитьCan we talk about someone or something else other than Bryson. You guys have talked about him ad nauseam, aren’t there more interesting things to talk about? As for club use, play what works best for you, after all, aren’t we all trying to shoot our lowest scores. Chris, my caddie question is does he just want you to carry his bag and clean his clubs, or does he actually want course management advice from you? Cheers.
