I really really like this one. I hope there are more strings in the full album. I have always loved it when they use other instruments like cello, strings, banjo, and others. The cello in St. Andrew's Fall is so fulfilling. The banjo in Skinned gives the song so much more character. I really hope they experiment more with that kind of stuff. To me, that is what made the band stand out from other groups during the 90s. Anyways, great job on the new stuff and I cannot wait to hear the album!

When Travis joined the band, I instinctively wanted to dislike him simply because he wasn't Shannon. I've completely changed my mind. He's very talented and he really respects and honors Shannons memory.

Definitely not Shannon. This band after Shannon Hoon is like potato salad with no Mayo, substitute mustard and sugar.

Arrangement is weak and without dynamics. Stirs up no emotion. No build up or break down. No atmosphere. Just a dude with loogies in his throat screaming too much and a string section going “chonk shhhonk shhhonk shonk”. 🤷🏻‍♂️

What a GREAT song. Blind Melon, once again, has exposed their multi faceted, colossal talent. Thank you!

Full circle moment for me, because I always thought that on "Dream On" the sound of Steven Tyler's voice reminded me of Shannon soooo much on those verses. And here Travis sounds so much like Steven Tyler, in a good way. 🐝
