Saw them twice, the first time at Loughborough Uni they were pissed , hammering the brandy and not giving a shit, they didn't do a soundcheck and were fucking awful, the second was at the Oval in 71 where they were great. It all depended on how drunk they were as to the standard of their performances. Kenny Jones was utterly incapable of stepping into the shoes of Keith Moon, that's for sure, not a bad drummer , but no virtuoso like Moon .

What a terrible band Rod had the guitarist playing over his singing and sounds like he is tuning up when he is not even the drummer got sacked from the who 🤣 no wonder he went solo they though he was a white Otis Redding. The small faces were great with Steve Marriott
