I just made your recipe, it didn't work for me,😢 I work at a warehouse and my clothes gets dirty, I tried a 1/4 of cup as you said it and didn't do anything, I end up using 2 cups, now they look fairly, am glad I didn't make the 5 gallons but am sure I can make it more concentrated for it to work.

I'll be making my own laundry detergent from now on. So easy.

Thank you for taking the time to do this video. I usually review other videos before I do something and yours makes the most sense plus I learn a few things. I didn't add the lemon balm because I love the clean scent of the soap without any additions. I have been using vinegar as a clothe softener for years because of all the chemicals that are currently added to clothe softener products. Obviously, we will never be able to get all toxins out of our lives but everything you can do to make your life less toxic is a good thing. Love your attitude and God bless.

So is 1/2 cup for a normal size of laundry? If so would I use a whole cup for a large or extra large load?

Hey gurl! I made the soap and it's amazing. I'm loving it. Just one question. Is it normal for it to separate? The soap has curdled and sits on top of the water. I just shake or stir it before I use. Just wondering if I did something wrong.

Hi, this is great. Really enjoyed the video. I actually just made some. Question for you. Should there be little flakes of soap floating around in the final product. I thought may be because I did not melt the soap enough. Thoughts?

Any other ideas for infusion other than lemon balm and lavender? What happens to the leaves? Maybe I missed part where you may have strained infusion?

My first couple loads everything went fine but the last load most of the laundry soap was still in the drawer. Only about half of it made it to the wash tub. Is there a way to make it a bit less clumpy without starting over? Should I just dump in the wash tub instead of the drawer? It’s a front load. That said the first couple loads I did came out clean and soft and don’t stink like toxic chemicals

I'm just wondering if that stuff spoils after a while.
