Do I need a pattern generator also
ОтветитьHello , I have an Acer predator xb271H. For color management i use a special icc profile . I dont have any measurement tool. Do i need any if i use a precalibrated profile?
Ответитьthe x-rite is priced as an entry-level 55" tv already omg, then another is the calibration software as well. ouch!
ОтветитьI love your videos you also mentioned blood clots. Lots of people are suffering with them after the vaccine hopefully thats not the case with you.
ОтветитьWhere did you get your wall paper
Ответитьnewb here, but if your calibrating a tv screen how would you set up the connections? Would it be HDMI to the Laptop and X-Rite i1 Display Pro to the laptop for the software to pick up both the tv and device?
ОтветитьHow can I load Calibrated TV profile using android app because I want to use tv without connected to computer
Ответитьyour gamma will never be fixed if you select "as measured" for the "white level" in display cal or any other calibration software , took me a year to figure it out, also a lot of people never mention warming up the display before calibrations, i recomend playing videos in full screen for 30 min you will be surprised with the rezults, use HCFR software to analize the white point before doing any automated calibrations
ОтветитьI take it for calibrating a TV for movies & console gaming, you're limited to just using that pre~calibration hardware level {on the TV itself} 2 point RGB setting, since obviously you can't create/ save ICC profiles on TVs.
ОтветитьHi, where can I find the THX Calibration settings for my Sony X90J T.V I just bought 75"? For picture and sound of course. Thanks.
Ответитьwhich model is the cheaper one that you mention? I didn't find it on your amazon link. Please let me know. Thanks.
ОтветитьYou mentioned GameMode. Is it actually possible to calibrate (samsung) correctly in Game mode? I can't get Soap Opera effect to completely go away without Game mode, but the colors are wrong. Whites blown out. Considering getting or borrowing an i1
ОтветитьYou my friend are a god!
ОтветитьWhen you were adjusting the "Luminance", where you changing the "Brightness" or the "Backlight" on the TV? b/c brightness is actually black level, not brightness as the name suggests.
ОтветитьActually your eyes are really poor at colors , so it doesn't matter if you calibrate you display or not far as content creation goes , you still cant believe you eyes and you have to check your camera , check your content , and once you checked that aint no difference how you display shows things , as long as you are happy with it , because you dont use your eyes for such critical color adjustments , eyes are poor at it , cant do it , so don't even try
But sure you need to calibrate your monitor , but no need for hardware tools , ive been doing it for years using simple online tests Lagom Test for example , it will get you 90% there , just fallow it
Any tips for fixing the error: Error - new_disprd failed with ‘Instrument Access Failed I feel like I’ve tried everything to get this program to work and I’m still not able to use it. I’ve gone through every help thread on the website that I can find and none of it’s worked. I just don’t know what to do at this point and my monitors desperately need calibration. I have the Spyder 5 Express and use Windows 10. If anyone here knows how to fix it I’d freak appreciate the info
ОтветитьHi! thank you verry much for this video! I have a question: After calibration, if I want to use the TV like a TV and not conected to a computer, how can I save the profile in TV's software or controls? Thank you very much!
ОтветитьGet a Sony Bravia TV...out of the box great color accuracy ✌️
ОтветитьWaste of 40 mins. This is not a calibrate TV tutorial. Misleading title. This is only for monitors. Once you use your TV as a monitor it’s no longer a monitor. Why is this important? Because the calibration is stored on the computer. Not the TV.
Ответитьisnt non-linear, not isnt it linear
Ответитьhi sorry to be late but it is 2022 and I found your video interesting but will it work the same on a 4k tv?
ОтветитьHi dude! I have 3 monitors, of the same brand and model! however, one screen, being newer, has totally different colors from the other two screens! I'm looking for how to solve this, and manually I couldn't! So I thought about using this device! and my big question is, how to do this in nvidia surround, since windows recognizes the three screens as a single screen in nvidia surround
ОтветитьI have an older colby HDTV with no backlight settings. Do you have a recommendation for settings to calibrate it?
ОтветитьHey.... I use Asus Proart PA278QV monitor(IPS panel) and im aFreelance Graphic Designer and a Photographer...my monitor has a green/yellow tint to it and i was using Rec.709 instead of sRGB in my monitor so that i can increase the brightness when needed. I want to calibrate my monitor but the settings in DisplayCAL is very confusing....can anyone help with the ideal settings for color accuracy.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this excellent walkthrough.
I’m planning on calibrating my OLED TV with DisplayCal, and so I want to input and store calibration settings on the TV. How do I go about this? Do I manually adjust the settings, or do I transfer them with an usb drive, or otherwise?
On the 10 minute mark where you showed the picture of you and your friend I actually prefer the not calibrated screen look
ОтветитьFor a 10 point calibration on my tv, is it a similar process?
ОтветитьHow to color calibrate every TV & Monitor in your house withou calibrated gear,so you will have still uncalibratet screen.heh
ОтветитьWRONG WRONG WRONG!!!
You lost brightness because you decreased your Green Gain you retard. Not because your TV's are hot.
After you adjust your green, you need to up your brightness again to where it should be, and then you will probably have to adjust the other colors as well after that.
amazing video huge thanks, also kudos for still rocking Logitech Z5500 they are amazing... had to change mine for Z906 not long ago because of a Sub buzzing.
ОтветитьIs this still the sensor you recommend?
ОтветитьHow would you do this for a TV?
ОтветитьGod this guy waffles 11 mins in and finally he says watch a different video for TV’s 🤦🏻♂️ and no link to it...
ОтветитьI calibrate my TV daily.....
ОтветитьIs this tutorial still valid today? Does it also work for tv/projectors ?
ОтветитьThank you <3
ОтветитьYou need to redo this for gaming and show the difference.
Ответитьthis is why I only buy Apple monitors.... As my uncle Ned always says, "if you mess with a BULL you get the horns"
ОтветитьFFS GET ON WITH IT!!!!
ОтветитьOkay so let's assume you've calibrated your TV by connecting a laptop to it and using the colorimeter. But now you're going back to your Blu-ray player. Who says the output of the Blu-ray player is the same as the video output of your laptop? It's different so how do you cope with that?
ОтветитьWish you would move coffee mug further away..otherwise a great video.
Ответитьif your colorimeter is not calibrated with spectro, then its mostly pointless to use it
ОтветитьDo you need a computer to use this? I want to calibrate my main tv. P.s Jeese you can talk dude 😂
ОтветитьHE LIKES TO YAP A LOT YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP....A PROFESSIONAL YAPPER
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьSaludos mi televisión samsung ue46c9000 en la gama pasa del 2 al 3 no hay opción de 2.2...! Sabes de alguna página donde salga la calibración de mi tele?
