Cord Blood Banking [Is it WORTH it?!]

I have stored my 3 kids blood cord. I’ve spent thousands after 21 yrs. I have seen that the cells are dead after thawing and if used makes people very sick. How do I know? Money is tight so if it’s a scam I’d like to cancel.

It was worth it to me to bank the cord blood for both my children. I figured they could use each others if needed. I chose private because if you go public there is no guarantee that your child's cord blood will still be there should you need it.

Hi Dr! We are looking at getting just the cord blood and cord tissue, but there's a more expensive option to gather amnio and placental cells. Is that worthwhile? we had a large NT measurement in an early scan and have had the all clear for genetic conditions, but do still slightly worry about any rare neurological issues. And we also wonder if amnio and placental cells might be useful down the line if the baby is born fine. Or is the research in too early stages?
