Happy 80th birthday to you today Mr. Johnny Bush!!...Born in Houston, Texas on this date back in 1935 as John Bush Shin III...he is not only an accomplished singer who between 1968 & 1974 racked up 11 Top 40 hits on the National Country Charts, but also is a talented guittarist and drummer as well!.. Also known as "The Country Caruso", classic country fans from around the world send him blessings today on his special day...and may his country"star" continue to shine! Great job on this video for this great old Johnny Bush song!

I read his book and just when he was getting HUGE around 72' that spasmodic dysphonia kicked in and just tortured the poor guy for decades.
He's one tough SOB and a great man.

It's hard to pick a favorite from Johnny Bush, but I guess this is mine. There is no voice like JB. Can't help but love good ole' Honky Tonk music!

Best that ever lived. "My Joy" bring tears every time. So much feeling in every word. He was my hero many years ago.
