It's more depressing than exciting to find such a Beautiful car that Somebody NEVER gave a s*** about but truly one of the Ultimate barn finds
ОтветитьExcellent video and I think a pretty fair price.
ОтветитьOh come on Parker, this thing should have been taken to MCACN 2025 with all dirt intact. 😁
Ответитьa 2bbl carb?
ОтветитьExcellent video. Great adventure. Now get er fixed up and show the videos.
ОтветитьI agree how this is now a rich man’s hobby. These old classics have purposefully been priced out of reach of the working man. People who have held on to an old muscle car and let it practically fall apart still have some rich person come along and offer a price that is obscene so no one can challenge their offer…
ОтветитьHaving worked for my dad at his restoration shop , plan on putting about $20K to make a daily driver.
I think somebody would be crazy to restomod this .. but that seems to be the trend now, throw a big block injected in it 😢
🤔 wonder if the original 359 is still around 🤷♂️
I would love it if you could verify my 69 z28. i have owned it over 40 years and has been garaged . how do i contact you thanks Rich F
ОтветитьAwesome barn find Parker! You are the best content creator when it comes to first gens. Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьI agree 1000% With Hi-Tech oil Co 🚘💯 Regular Everyday Working People Building Relationships and Families Turning Wrenches and Build Friendships⛽🧰🗜🪛⚙🔩
ОтветитьThat car is pure Gold 😎👍
ОтветитьIt’s amazing all the cars you’ve looked for are suddenly up for sale! Looked my whole life , keep it I won’t buy
Ответитьin February 69 they were pace cars at the Daytona 500 also
Ответить30K, it will sit for another 40 years and no one will buy it. Then in 40 years it will be scrapped because there will be nothing left. Rare or not every panel needs to be replaced on that car, there will be nothing original about it.
Ответитьi use to buy GM fenders for a Camaro in 1985 for $189 dollars
ОтветитьDefinitely been sitting the claimed yrs... I really didn't think there were any left,as have seen em all in my lifetime none left
ОтветитьYa I'll bet it set someone back 50 k in that shape
ОтветитьI think I have a 1968 rs ss l34 Muncie car
ОтветитьParked my My 69 Z in about 94 , hasn’t moved since :-(
ОтветитьThat mercedes adenauer is something else!
ОтветитьSUPER COOL BARNFIND THANKS FOR SHARING PEACE
ОтветитьWHAT KIND OF SICK IN THE HEAD JACKASS WOULD LET THIS HAPPEN TO A CAR LIKE THIS?!?!? WHAT A TOOL!!! NO, I DONT WANT TO MEET THE OWNER!!!
ОтветитьI remember my father purchasing a 1975 AMC Pacer . He made a couple SS stickers for the fenders and cut the "r" off the Pacer emblem. In 1987 he gave it to me as a high school graduation present and told me it was a 1969 Camaro Pace car. I had the car 10 years before I found out he lied to me.
ОтветитьI hate the spanish translation of the video
ОтветитьI would put an offer for the barn wood too...
ОтветитьMy wife watching them tear up those vintage barn doors that are worth a lot.🫣
ОтветитьEngine looks like a 2 bbl and alot of the Engine compartment appears incorrect.
ОтветитьI have 2. But heres my issue. Im old and grey haired but the pace cars had less in the trunk, less interior and more metal showing. 2 people can lift it up from rear.
My Vettes are pace car models but full interior as they were sold to public, black and silver, red interior, say official pace car but weren't.
Another way to see if is a real car is it has roll cage inside.
I'd weigh the car as the weights are different on the ones that went around the tracks.
Also, absolutely had rally rims.
😎💯👍Fucking Bad Ass Car Man!!!!!!!!...Score Big Time you need to find the valve covers.....👍💯😎
ОтветитьI'm excited over the lawn mower! what's up with that! That Barnwood is making some carpenters salivate! I know that! oh the furniture that could be made with that old wood!
ОтветитьThanx for making the comment below (@raywkilleen) regarding the engine swap. I have the 33rd Edition of the 1970 MOTOR'S book (copyright 1970 by the Hearst Corporation) that states the engine code FB stamped on the block's ID pad is a 327cid power glide for 1969 (for install in multiple models; Camaro, full sized, etc). Beautiful car, good Vid......Subscribed.
ОтветитьThese are the greatest videos. Thx so much Parker
ОтветитьThe '69 Camaro used to be my favorite year. Today it's the '67-'68 followed by the '70-'72. The '69 though 1st gen is a little bulky/pudgy compared to the others. My only problem with the '69 is too much plastic that cracked; especially the dash. Also (on my '69) the corners of the dash started curling up before the car was even 10. I got my '69 in 1978 when I was 21, naïve, and didn't care.
ОтветитьMy dad had this same car. He had it until I believe 1996. He was in the early stages of Alzheimer’s and was unfortunately swindled out of this car by someone who was unknown to me. I was never able to find out what happened to it. I do have an idea of who got it though but there was nothing I could do to get it back. It’s still saddens me to this day. It was a very great and special car! My sisters and I learned how to drive a stick shift in this car. It had the factory Hurst shifter!
Ответить30k seems a bit steep
ОтветитьFor those who may not know...as I didn't before becoming a glazier in the 70s, glass is incredibly sharp and can be quite dangerous. Sounds simple I know, but until you have seen a relatively small piece fall 15 inches and cause nasty deep cuts, you don't really think about it.
ОтветитьWorked for a small Chev. dealer in Pa. many years ago.I got to drive my bosses 69pace car in local parades, they are still my favorite Camaro of all time !
ОтветитьJust can't understand why people leave cars to languish like this. Too bad he didn't have NOS doors.
ОтветитьGood idea on the privacy thing! That is terrible that they are going to charge for touch and goes! That will impact safety and be a huge financial burden to pilots learning to fly and staying current. Thank you for covering this Dan.
ОтветитьIt's such a great find. I hope you share with us how much it was sold for❤
ОтветитьIt's ridiculous how people with too much money just let a car like this just sit without even a sense of what he has. This owner, "ahhhhhh, the seller said he put them in trunk" and it was years ago. Too damn lazy to even pop the trunk. People amaze me.
Ответить30K? No way. 12500 max.
ОтветитьDude, thats a sliding door.🤔
ОтветитьSo make the guy who's scared of heights get on the ladder.😂
ОтветитьResearching, thats not a bad asking price, restored they are going for $64,000 to $80,000.
ОтветитьBang the rim up against the original trim rings. Complete moron.
ОтветитьThe guy on the comments pulled the original motor might still know where it is
ОтветитьI knew exactly where this car has sat all these years in that barn and I never knew there was a Camaro in there! I hope it goes to a good home and it is fixed up and put back on the road!
ОтветитьMy wife and I sold this car to him, we had Penske (Lehigh st) do the quarters because they were rusted, I dropped the trunk and gas tank to redue the trunk, the engine was swapped out by my wife’s uncle who is still alive, I think it was vette engine
