Insta360 GO 2 Still Worth Traveling With in 2023?

I have this right now but please guide me with the overheating of this camera. What can I do to maintain it? It gets really really hot just a few minutes of use.

I'm amazed at how close 1440p looks to 4K! I have a Go Pro 10 too and some others, but the ultimate is my Sony a7C. But that can be kind of heavy to lug around on a gimbal all the time. So, I would use the a7C or RX100VA for night time, but tiny cameras (like the Go 2, Go Pro 10, iPhone, etc.) are pretty amazing for daytime, though you get no real bokeh. However, for those devices (with typical 1/2.3 sensors) during the day, the tiny Insta360 Go 2 wins, hands down!
But... "for such an old camera"??!! The Go 2 isn't exactly twenty years old! Ha Ha! Oh! One more thing!

Do not buy ANYTHING from this company if you have any technical issue with the cameras they will just lie to you and never fix the problem I've sent the camera back after a water damage repair and came back faulty to receive it back again faulty, asked for a video evidence of the camera booting up correctly and they took a video of a random working unit and sent me the faulty one, waste of time money and energies

Auto setting works fine for me as well. Even when attaching to my Dji Fpv drone. Connecting to a phone for manual setting every single time is too much of a hassle, not counting the time the camera connection fails now and then. Depending on just the light conditions especially if its already bright helps a lot. I even put on Nd filters for flying or casual filming if its bright enough and the quality is still good. As you've said with keeping the iso low I think with the auto settings with the Nd filter on the camera might be adjusting (lowering) the iso and some other settings as well to maintain a good light.

I would never sell my go 2 until something in the same form factor with the same features shoots better iq.

Rob, I use the Go2 all the time. It can fall down a little bit when it comes to video noise and low light. To overcome this I process the footage using TopazAI sharpen. This does a really good job at sharpening the footage and upscaling it to 4K. The results are outstanding considering the size of this camera.

Action 2, comes with a free heater too haha, naah had this GO 2 & also the original GO but sold them both on ebay - both went in the wash at least once...and survived somehow! two lucky ebayers out there none the wiser. So insta go's are OK just not fantastic, unless a GO 3 is round the corner?
