Right now, things are a little weird. The US dollar is becoming less valuable for purchasing goods, but it is becoming more valuable overall. Due to people investing their money in dollars for security, assets like equities, homes, cryptocurrencies, and precious metals aren't doing as well as they could. I'm concerned that my $320,000 in savings will depreciate quickly. What should I do with my cash to keep it secure?

They should have at least 2% proficiency in English in order to be hired to purport to provide customer service in English.

Banks should have a savings account for hard times just like they tell everyone else. Why isn't the FED bailing out banks? They bailed out auto companies, but not banks. What good is FDIC insurance for when people are still losing their money in banks.

On top of that, everyone was still recovering from the covid lockdowns and then the FED wants to curb inflation by creating higher interest rates that only increases inflation.

Since the financial crisis, they have been consistently profitable and the share price really does not do it justice. With an extremely low P/E ratio plus a very healthy and growing dividend, the share price could/should easy jump from here.

I'm pretty sure that at this point, they are just re-structuring. They probably had no choice but to close down some branches in asia for poor profitability. And just like every one else, what is down/up, must come up/down.

Citibank didn't let me open a checking account when I got my first job in high school. Yeah I'm not gonna have $1,000 right now to waive the $10-$12 monthly fee.
PNC Student Checking let me have $0 fee for 5 years when they just started doing the Student Virtual Wallets. On top of reimbursing any ATM withdrawal fee during my undergrad. Take notes Citibank.

Always good to see Citi collapsing! Hardly any bank has done more to deserve it. While they claim to have the best services around for international customers, in actual fact they have shown a pattern of closing customers accounts and refusing to return the money or even communicate about it. They just say "your account is with the fraud department and we have no access to it". Definitely overdue for some major class action lawsuits!

I still remember when Citi was seen as a rich people's bank here in Brazil and only had branches in wealthy neighborhoods. They sold the business before the pandemic to Itaú.

Not surprised, Citibank has been outsourcing American customer service jobs for years to foreign countries where agents can barely speak English while trying to resolve customer service problems in America. I closed my Citibank accounts because of the Banks absence of Patriotism.

Well there you have it. A female CEO. The majority of female CEOs have driven large corporations into the ground. Only a few women have what it takes to drive big business and a few women have done it really well. Unfortunately, most women seek power and control instead of doing what needs to be done.
